Graham Hollinger President Kerrimuir United Cricket Club  Dear Graham,

RE: North/East Link Proposal   Cricket Victoria (CV) endorses the plans by Kerrimuir United Cricket Club to move Mont Albert CC, Box Hill CC and involve Kingswood College to further enhance the cricket experience in the Region.  The scope, objectives and projected outcomes of the proposal closely align with the Victorian Cricket Strategy (see below)

The Inner East cricket region has identified to increase the access to grounds as a priority infrastructure need for the local cricket community. The region has a growing participation base currently served by insufficient cricket facilities. We believe that the local clubs and community can benefit from the proposal.

If you would like any further information in relation to CV’s endorsement of the project, please contact me at [email protected] or via 0473 040 593  Yours sincerely,

Clinton Kennon Area Manager – East Metro

Letter of Support

Kerrimuir United Cricket Club

Mont Albert Cricket Club (MACC) will be heavily impacted by the development of the North East Link

losing access to two of our grounds Elgar Park North East and Elgar Park North West for long periods

of the project development phase.

The proposal to use nearby Springfield Park North West, with its attendant required development

proposed by Kerrimuir United Cricket Club (KUCC) in MACC’s opinion represents a creative and

appropriate solution that will meet MACC’s requirements to replace Elgar North West and is

superior to other proposed solutions. It represents a significant upgrade to local facilities resulting in

an improvement to long term community assets.

KUCC have presented their proposal to MACC.

MACC supports Kerrimuir United Cricket Club’s proposal.

Regards,

Peter B. Knox

President

To whom it may concern, The Committee of the BHRDCA are pleased to support the Kerrimuir United CC submission regarding the proposed North West link. The impact to local sport is significant and we feel the Kerrimuir United CC proposal offers a good balance whilst minimising the displacement to our clubs specifically and the competition generally.
