Subject Outline Language 2 SY 2011-2012 Subject Description Language 2 is designed to help the Grade 2 pupils develop basic communication skills and give opportunities to listen, speak, read and write in simple situations. It deals with the study of the six parts of speech namely simple nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs and prepositions. It aims to develop the grade I pupils such skills as spelling, capitalization and punctuations. Oral Communication skills in using simple greetings and polite expressions, reciting poems, reading conversations, dialogues, asking and answering questions are given as opportunities to use in English language communication. It includes list of spelling words, activities and projects that will enhance the aforementioned skills. General Objectives 1. Subject Description

Language 2 is designed to help the Grade 2 pupils develop basic communication skills and give
