Please complete all activities within the lesson, noting
down any key information and watching all clips.
To commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day on the 27th
January we are asking students to create a piece of art
work, poetry or creative writing piece with the title
being ‘Be the Light in the Darkness’
This years theme asks everyone to consider different
kinds of ‘darkness’, for example identity-based
persecution, misinformation, denial of justice; and
then also different ways of being the ‘light’ for
example, resistance, acts of solidarity, rescue and
illuminating mistrusts.
For more information see the Support Links below
Deadline: 26th January with the winner announced on
the 27th
Watch the video in the folder and pause the video to complete the activities.

To find patterns you need to be able to set formulae
to the spreadsheet so that you can find answers
IF function can be used to make a choice based on a
test. The test can simply be seeing IF a cell contains a
particular value.
SUMIF is a combination of the SUM and the IF
function. The SUM function adds up a range of cells
while the SUMIF function only includes a value from
the range if it meets a particular criterion.
The COUNTIF allows you to set a criterion for those
cells you want to count.
