Hello Edison Families,
I am looking forward to serving as your new PTSA President for the 2013 – 2014 school year.
We have an immediate need to fill. The Class of 2018 (incoming 8th grade)
needs grade reps, including an e-mail person. The 8th
grade year for our Edison Students is very memorable and filled with lots of activities. Without reps, the activities may not happen. If you are interested in being an 8
th grade
rep, please e-mail me. Also if you know of any incoming 6th grade families,
grade reps are needed for that class as well.
I hope you all have a wonderful summer! We will see you at schedule pick up in August. Stay safe.

Summer Tutoring for Chinese and English
Tutoring available for 8
th – 12
th grade English, summer reading, and Chinese I
and II. I am a recent graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and will be attending the University of Tulsa this fall, where I plan to double major in Chinese Studies and Women’s and Gender Studies. At Booker T., I fulfilled the requirements for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, graduating with a 4.2 GPA. I studied Chinese throughout high school, and received a State Department scholarship through NSLI-Y to study Chinese for six weeks in China this past summer. I have been an associate editor for Nimrod International Journal of Prose and Poetry for four years. I have a passion for reading, am experienced in analysis, and enjoy discussion. I would love to share my enthusiasm for language and literature with your student.
