• While options for subjects are offered to students, a class size of at least 15 is required before the class can be opened.

• If a class is oversubscribed and there is a cap to the number of students who can offer the subject, placement of students will be based on merit.

• For students in the N(T) stream who are exempted from Basic Mother Tongue, as they are already offering five subjects, there is no necessity to offer an additional subject.
