A subject pronoun is used in the subject of the sentence.

Examples: I went to the grocery store yesterday. We bought 3 boxes of cereal.▪ Notice that I and we are both in the subject of

the sentence.

Object Pronouns

An object pronoun is used in the predicate of a sentence so it comes after the verb.

Examples: Alex will go to the grocery store with you.Mom will push the cart for me.
