Year 1: Decide your basics and invest in them. This creates a classic tree

that is beautiful and timeless.

Year 2: Select a theme, then focus on your 30%.

*Hint: It’s always helpful to store your ornaments by color.

Year 3: Selecting a theme for next year, see what colors you have from

previous years and buy what you need to update your 30%.

*Here’s a perfect example: Our traditional tree was similar to our kid’s theme. We only had to purchase a few whimsical pieces to change the entire look.

2. As your assortment grows, it will become easier to create new designs with what you already own.
