FReading in the F-shape, first few phrases catch the attention and summarize the paragraph!

INVERTED PYRAMID- Get to the point first!- Elaborate later!- Capture attention!

Use simple words and sentences! This is no essay!

Include proof to support any claims! Give credit!

Instead of writing different quotes that may last paragraphs long, present pointsIn bullet form and make sure to do your best to tell the “story”

BE CONCISE!

Before and After

• Close to 1,400 words

• Points were all over the place and so were counter-arguments

• 300 words (almost an 80% reduction!)

• Points were presented in an orderly fashion to show rebuttals
