What You Will GetWe offer a flexible learning solution. Students can either learn fully online or combine classroom

learning with online learning. Students will need to have access to a computer with the latest

classroom setting, to maximize the opportunity to focus

train ride to the CBD. The traditional classroom lets you

accounting and bookkeeping knowledge.

Study OnlineStudents also have the option to study online, with

the exact same course content. Progress at your

own pace, and study where you want, when you

want. Online support is available through the

subject tutors.

FNS40615 Certificate IV in AccountingLearn the real-world skills and become job ready to work in an accounting role, including accounts

clerk, bookkeeping, junior accountant. Successful students will gain the skills and knowledge to:

Set up and operate professional accounting systems,

Prepare financial statements, budgets and reports,

Administer accounts, ledgers and payroll, and

Understand the requirements of working the financial services industry.

FNS50215 Diploma of AccountingThe qualification reflects professional accounting job roles in financial services and other

industries. Successful candidates will be:

Independent thinkers equipped to apply solutions to a range of often complex problems

Analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources

initiative to plan, coordinate and evaluate their own work and guidance to others within defined guidelines.

FNS30315 Certificate III in Accounts AdministrationThis course provides the foundation knowledge you require to perform a variety of roles in

accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, payroll or as a junior accountant. Students

will learn:

financial data entry

processing accounts and payrolls

providing customer service in financial transactions and;

producing reports

the knowledge and skills to demonstrate autonomy and judgement and to take limited responsibility in known situations under general supervision

BSB50215 Diploma of BusinessThis qualification would apply to individuals with various job titles including executive officers,

program consultants and program coordinators. Individuals in these roles may possess substantial

experience in a range of settings but seek to further develop their skills across a wide range of

business functions. This is for anyone with theoretical business skills and knowledge that they

would like to develop in order to create further educational and employment opportunities.

BSB42615 Certificate IV in New Small BusinessThis qualification is suitable for those establishing a small business who use well developed skills

and a broad knowledge base to solve a range of unpredictable problems and analyse and evaluate

information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others and

have responsibility for the output of others.

BSB51915 Diploma of Leadership & ManagementThis qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills and

experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.

Individuals will be able to:

display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others

display communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements

plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources

TrainingLinden College also offers training courses in Project Management and Small Business, these are

not recognised courses. Linden College aims to provide these courses for individuals to upgrade or

learn new skills.

Recognition of Prior LearningLinden College incorporates Recognition of Prior learning (RPL) into our enrolment processes,

taking the knowledge and skills you have gained through your previous education and work

history, and attributing this into your course.

AssessmentStudents complete different kinds of assessment tasks, to demonstrate their skills and knowledge,

including preparing business documents, short answer questions, financial calculations, projects

and classroom presentations.
