formin) the petals>, these represent the star and crescent on Pa(istans fla)!

"he monument is located at the west side of Sha(ar Parian Aills, and is spread o#er a total area of

9!/ hectares! "he hi)h location ma(es it #isible from both the cities 6awalpindi and 'slamabad! 'ts

foundation stone was laid on 90thof arch, 9334! "he total cost incurred was more than 6s! 0/3

illion!

$fter #isitin) the onument of Pa(istan, we headed towards the ational $ssembly where $hsan

aidi, "he protocol officer welcomed us and too( us to the Cafeteria made inside the ational

$ssembly! We were ser#ed with tea and were told that the session will start at :*33 pm after the

a)hrib ama5!

"he session started accordin) to the scheduled time with the "alawat from Aoly Euran and waslead by the Aonourable Deputy Spea(er 8aisal ;arim ;undi! 't was a normal session in which the

deputy spea(er and had a )eneral discussion with the all the embers of the ational assembly

who were present there for the session! "here are total @49 members of the ational $ssembly,

each represntin) their political party both from the )o#ernment and the opposition!

We e#en had a chance to #isit the edia Cell made inside the ational $ssembly where all the

2ournalists who are there to attend the ational $ssemblys Session are seated! We e#en met the

first %ady Spea(er in the history of Pa(istan Dr! 8ehmeida ir5a in the hallway as she was )oin)

towards the assembly hall!$fter attendin) the session, as we were headin) out of the ational $ssembly we e#en #isited the

$fter #isitin) the %o( Virsa useum we left for the Parliament Aouse a)ain to attend the session of theSenate! t! $sadullah, the protocol officer for the Senate leaded us inside the Senate!

Students offered their 2umma Prayer inside the Parliament Aouse, and then r! $sadullah too( us to the

Senate $ssembly where the Session for the Senators is conducted! Ae told us about how the Senators are

selected throu)h election and their term of office is of : years! "hre are total -33 members of the Senate

$ssembly! 'ts -st Chairman was r! Aabibullah and its : thChairman is r! ayyer Bu(hari!$fter #isitin) the $ssembly, r! $sadullah ;han told us that he had arran)ed us a eetin) with r!

+hafoor Aaideri,, who is a member of the Senate $ssembly from the maor opposition party 2ammiat1e1

Ullama 'slam =2U'>! We had a lon) discussion with him re)ardin) se#eral issues in the country annd

e#en tal(ed about the hot issue of restoration of Pro#ince of Bahawalpur! $fter the discussion he had tea

with us and then the meetin) was adourned!

lar)est mos?ue in Pa(istan and was desi)ned by "ur(ish $rchitect and was completed ' year -./: and it

has a shape li(e Bedouins tent in a Desert!

"he 8aisal os?ue is located at the foot of ar)alla Aills which )i#es a spectacular #iew of ar)allaAills in the bac(drop! "his en#iable location represents the mos?ues )reat importance and allows it to be

seen from miles around both in day and ni)ht!

8aisal os?ue has the honour of bein) the ational os?ue of Pa(istan and is named after the (in)

8aisal Bin $bdul $5i5 of Saudia $rabia, who supported and financed the Proect!

't has the capacity of accommodatin) -3,333 worshipers in the main hall and 94,333 in its porticoes and

another 933,333 in its adoinin) )rounds!

and colder as the sun was settin) down! We had our dinner at this crowded Aotel on the all 6oad andafter the dinner Dr! $bdul Waid ;han allowed all the students to roam around the commercial ba5aar on

the all 6oad so that they can roam around and buy )ifts for themsel#es and as well as for their lo#ed

ones! We were all supposed to return to our hotel by . pm as we had to ma(e our ourney tomorrow early

in the mornin) to Patriata, which is also (nown as the ew urree!

fun in the snow! Aittin) each other with the snow balls and there were snow balls in the air comin) from

e#ery side! 't seemed li(e some ind of war where e#eryone was tryin) to sa#e his own s(in and stilltryin) to become the unbeatable snow ball warrior!

We came bac( towards the par(in) around 0 pm as we had to lea#e for 'slamabad! We started our

ourney bac( towards 'slamabad and reached there around / pm! Aad our dinner and hired a bus which

was )oin) to ta(e us to %ahore and was supposed to )et us to our hotel where our boo(in) was already

done and we were supposed to stay there for the rest of two days of our stay in %ahore!

Students stayed awa(e durin) the entire ourney to %ahore! "hey (ept sin)in) son)s and rememberin)

the moments they had spent in urree and 'slamabad! "he fun they had and all the )olden memories

they had collected durin) this study tour!

of $nar(ali Ba5aar! "he oldest commercial mar(ets of %ahore! $nar(ali Ba5ar is one of the oldest

sur#i#in) mar(ets in South $sia datin) bac( at least 933 years! 't is located on all 6oad! 't was named

as $nar(ali because of the nearbly un(nown ausoleum which was thouht to be of that sla#e )irl named

We reached the +o#ernor Aouse at 9 pm, "he +o#ernors Aouse in %ahore, Punab is the official

residence of the +o#ernor of the pro#ince of Punab! "he current residents are of the incumbent

+o#ernor of Punab, r! a(hdoum Syed $hmed ahmud, who too( the oath of +o#ernorship on 90 th

December, 93-9 as the 9.th+o#ernor of Punab!

"he +o#ernor house is located alon) the famous all 6oad in %ahore, the capital and political center ofthe pro#ince Punab! "he main entrance is on the "1function and Sharah1e1$iwan1Sanat1o1"iarat! "he

residence is a typical mansion built amon) a lar)e e&panse of surroundin) lawns and )ardens! Close to

the house there is a tomb belon)in) to the man by the name of uhammad Easim ;han, who is said to

be the maternal cousin of the u)hal emperor $(bar!

meetin) because of some important piece of wor( he had to lea#e early and he e#en apolo)i5ed for not

)i#in) us the proper time as it was scheduled! $fter he left, the protocol officer too( us for a #isit aroundthe +o#ernors Aouse! 't was a )reat honor to wal( throu)h the hallways where only the maor political

personalities can wal( throu)h!

Pa(istans Cric(et "eam! Se#eral ?uestions were raised from the students side and were all answered byall of the three members of the corporate structure! $fter the discussion ended, Chairman PCB, r! a(a

$shraf bein) a )ood host in#ited us all for this tea he had arran)ed for all of the students! Students were

?uiet e&cited about ha#in) tea with the true national heroes li(e 2a#ed iandad and 'nti(hab $lam! 't

was a chance for the students to interact with them and )et to (now the cric(et throu)h their point of

#iew!$fter the tea, all of the students were ta(en to the +addafi Stadium and were )i#en a chance to #isit the

hall of fame and the stadium!
