    STUDY PLANNER

    HOW TO STUDY

This is for all those students who are preparing for their exams and

working hard to touch the sky. Dear students! Only hard work is not enough,

the more important thing is to plan it in a systematic way. Here is a solution

for all your anxieties. This planner is focused on CBSE Boarder.

    STEP-1

CALCULATE THE TOTAL TIME FOR STUDIES

Lets see, if we calculate it from 01st

    October to 28th

    February; there are 5

months. Leave February for revision. Now you have only 4 months or almost

    120 days.

    TOTAL TIME: 120 DAYS

    STEP-2

    WEIGH YOUR SUBJECTS

It means you have to set weightage for all your subjects. For example a 10th

class CBSE student has five subjects: English, Hindi, Maths, Science and

Social Studies. He feels that Mathematics is slightly tough and demands more

practice, Science is easier but time taking, Social Studies is not the priorityand Hindi-English can be equally treated.

Now for this student, the weightage for all his 5 subjects may be as below:

    Subject WeightageEnglish 1

    Hindi 1

    Social Studies 1.5

    Science 2

    Mathematics 2.5

    Total Weightage 8

    STEP-3

DIVISION OF DAYS FOR STUDDING EACH SUBJECT

Now divide 120 days into five parts (Number of subjects) as per the

    weightage assigned by you.

    Use this formula

    Subject weightage x total days

    Total weightage

    Subject Weightage days allotted

    for studyEnglish 1 15 days

    Hindi 1 15 days

    Social Studies 1.5 22.5 days

    Science 2 30 days

    Mathematics 2.5 37.5 days

    Total 8 120 days

    STEP-4

DIVISION OF SUBJECT AREAS AS PER THE

    ALLOTMENT OF DAYS

You must divide your subject areas as per the days allotted to the said subject.

For example, here 15 days are allotted to English. You can divide these days

    into 4 parts as below:

    SUBJECT : ENGLISH Days : 15 days

    Reading (Section A) 3 days

    Writing (Section B) 4 days

    Grammar ( Section C) 3 days

    Text Book ( Section D) 5 days

    Total 15 days

This way you can plan other subjects too.

    Note :

You can make some changes to the planner as per your personal needs. Dont take one subjects continuously for more than 3 days.

    STEP-5

    WEEKLY PLAN OF STUDY

Make Weekly Plan of study in such a manner so that all the subjects are

covered in 6 days and leave Sunday for revision of the work done during the

    week.

You can make the WEEKLY PLAN OF STUDY only if you have worked out

all the steps for all your subjects.

    studyEnglish 1 15 days 0.75 days

    Hindi 1 15 days 0.75 days

    Science 2 30 days 1.5 days

    Mathematics 2.5 37.5 days 1.875 days
