• elective subject for medical students during their clinical part at the medical faculty of the University of Freiburg since 2005 (Internal Medicine)

• 20 (-30) students per semester (currently)– have to go to the lecture– have to do a presentation / write a paper, e.g. on:

• genotype – phenotype correlation in Rett syndrome• pain assessment in individuals with developmental disabilites• sexuality and ID• resitential homes and occupation facilities for adults with ID
