About Katherine Herron:
- Masters in Education (SMU) /BA in Education & Spanish (University of Texas at Austin)- 9 years teaching experience in HPISD (and tutoring all levels at the high school)- HPMS Languages Other Than English Department Chair (2008-present)- HPISD Regional Teacher of the Year Representative (2011-2012)- Highland Park Middle School Teacher of the Year (2011-2012)- Park Cities Learning Disabilities Teacher of the Year (2008-2009)- Jasper High School Beginning Teacher of the Year (2005-2006)
What? : In my study groups, we will go over concepts that are being taught in class using the best second language learning strategies. I will provide handouts when appropriate. There is limited space in my groups so please sign your child up as soon as possible. I will not take more than 6 students per group. I will require a written commitment(e-mail) stating your child will be there each week. If your child cannot attend, please find a replacement or pay double at the next session.

How much?: $40 a session (cash preferred)
