Exchange Programs
The University has access to several student exchange programs: • Student Exchange Bilateral Program (SEP) • National Student Exchange Program(NSE) • International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) • North2North Student Exchange Program (N2N)
A program made up of agreements between the U of R and partner schools all over the world. Students will:
• Pay same tuition fees to the University of Regina
• Pay housing fees at the host institution
• Student also responsible for: travel to host country, meals, lab fees, printing fees, and library fees
• Students are enrolled in full-time studies
SEP Program
A consortium of schools in North America. Students will:
• Pay same tuition fees to the University of Regina
• Pay housing fees at the host institution
• Student also responsible for: travel to host country, meals, lab fees, printing fees, and library fees
• Students are enrolled in full-time studies
NSE Program
A consortium of schools all over the world (more than 300 partners globally):
• Pay same tuition fees to the University of Regina
• Pay housing/meal fees to Luther College Residence prior to departure for exchange
• Student also responsible for: travel to host country, lab fees, printing fees, and library fees
• Students are enrolled in full-time studies
ISEP Program
This is a short-term program through which the U of R take a small group of students abroad as part of a course being taught by a U of R professor. 1. This is an academic credit course 2. Students will receive U of R credit toward
their degree 3. Students are led by professor, in group of
their peer 4. May visit partner institutions for specifically
tailored programs
Study Tours
This program is for students who are wanting to make their required internship or practicum component for their degree an international venture. Students will need to provide: 1. Host institution acceptance letter 2. Copy of internship plan or letter from internship
coordinator 3. Official transcripts 4. Copy of passport 5. Ensure visa requirements into host country 6. Resume/CV http://www.uregina.ca/international/study-abroad/global-

Internships/Practicums
• Going on exchange will not delay student’s degree
• Learning Agreement to determine course credit
• Student keeps all documentation for classes from exchange
• Process begins once official transcript from exchange received
• Final decision on transfer credit rests with the student’s faculty
Transfer Credit
Visiting Student Students may be eligible to take a semester or an academic year at an institution that U of R does not have a formal agreement with. This can be done by: 1. Receiving permission from their faculty in the
form of a letter of permission 2. Keeping all course outlines and course
material from their studies 3. Requesting official transcripts be sent directly
to the U of R
• Students utilizing student loans are eligible to continue applying for loans while on exchange
• Students still eligible for continuing scholarships, faculty scholarships
• Student who receive indigenous band funding can use it for their exchange
• Scholarships specific to students going on exchange/international ventures for program
