THE CHALLENGE Due to widespread growth RE/MAX professionals started looking for a cost competitive telecom solution which provided the features and functionality to allow their employees and clients to communicate and collaborate with the latest technology. As RE/MAX Professionals acquired additional locations they found that their organization was becoming overwhelmed by administering and training on several different phone systems.

One of their main existing phone systems, which was located in their data center, required an expensive MPLS network to each one of their many sites to function properly. Also, each time they brought on a new agent it required RE/MAX Professionals to pay for costly licenses and equipment. It became more and more expensive to manage and administer the system, pay for licenses and equipment, and maintain an MPLS network as their growth continued. They knew it was essential to provide the latest technology to their agents and customers but equally as important was to do it in a way that was scalable and beneficial for the company.

THE SOLUTION After taking a look at all of the solutions in the market, RE/MAX Professionals decided YipTel’s Enterprise platform was the perfect fit for their company. Hosted from the cloud, the Enterprise platform allowed RE/MAX Professionals to maintain their existing broadband contracts but eliminate the expensive MPLS network between sites. YipTel’s Enterprise solution allows customers to pay with an operational expense (pay per user per month hosted model) instead of a large cash purchase outlay. This hosted model also includes technical support, software subscriptions, and warranty on all equipment. The hosted model gave RE/MAX Professionals the flexibility to add a minimal monthly expense as they brought on new agents and/or employees. Also, as the company’s growth ebbs and flows, the hosted program allows RE/MAX Professional to add and subtract users anytime they choose making sure they are not paying for more resources than necessary.
