Hab. 2:14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

Num.14:21 But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.

Jer.31:34 for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD:

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Does this describe the marriage of the Lamb?

Revelation 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

The Marriage of the Lamb takes place at the START of theMILLENNIUM

Isaiah 54:5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

Hosea 2:19 And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.

“coming down from God out of heaven”

1 Corinthians 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

Rev.21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, (1) the tabernacle of God is with men, (2) and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, (3) and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

This will not be God coming to dwell with us

We will will be brought back to God, able to live in his presence

Genesis 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Genesis 4:16 And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

Gen.3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

1. Worship at a distance - outside the garden - via sacrifice

The Way back - Enmity & SacrificeGen.3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Genesis 3:21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them. (to cover sin)

Psalms 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Ps.36:7 How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.9 For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

Why did Jesus come into the world?

To save sinners like me?John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

John 17:6 ¶ I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me ….21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe

Hebrews 10:7 ¶ Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

“Men were not ushered into being for the purpose of being saved or lost! God manifestation, not human salvation, was the great purpose of the Eternal Spirit. The salvation of a multitude is incidental to the manifestation, but was not the end proposed. The Eternal Spirit intended to enthrone Himself on the earth, and in so doing, to develop a Divine family from among men…..

Rev.21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

The results of God being “all in all”

To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna,

To him that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life

Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and I will write upon him the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Rev.21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things;

8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Heb.10:35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.36 For ye have need of patience, (endurance) that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

21:9 ¶ And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee

V.9 - A Return to the vial period

17:1 ¶ And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee

21:9 ¶ And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.

V.9 - A Return to the vial period

17:1 ¶ And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:

The Bride has followed the Lamb ‘withersoever he goeth’ - she is now rewarded

The whore has controlled many peoples, she is now rewarded

21:10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

Revelation 18:21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

The ‘Holy’ city had been trodden under foot (Rev.11:2) - it is now exalted

Babylon has reigned over the kings of the earth (Rev.17:18) - it is now destroyed

The first symbolic ‘great city’

Rev. 11:8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

Rev. 17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

Rev. 16:19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

Rev. 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

Rev. 18:21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

The second symbolic ‘great city’

Psalms 87:5 And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.

Galatians 4:26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

Psalms 24:3-5 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

Heb.11:13-16 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth…. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

21:10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem,

descending out of heaven from God,

2 Cor.5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.1 ¶ We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
