GoogleClassroomAschool'se-mailaddresswillbeallocatedtoeachKIASstudent.Itisthestudent'sresponsibilitytokeeppasswordconfidentialinordertoprotecthise-mailaccount.Regularcheckingofthisaccountismandatory.TeacherswillregularlyposthomeworkandinstructionsonGoogleClassroomStudentsandteacherscancommunicateatapresettimeusingtheiraccount.Studentscan,atanytime,postanyquestionontheiraccount.Teachersareexpectedtoansweratthatpresettime.

Thestudentwillbeheldresponsibleincasehedoesnotcomplywiththeteacher'sinstructions,forfailingtochecktheaccount.

PunishmentsTeacherswilllistentothestudentpriortotakeanycorrectiveaction.WhilestudentsfromGrades1to5willnotbepunishedbydismissalfromclassroom,studentsfromGrades6to12maybedismissedfromtheclassroomandsenttoEducationalHeadasalastresource.Thefollowingmeasuresmaybetakentopunishastudent:

• Standatthebackoftheclassforaperiodnotexceeding15minutes• Stayinrecesswithworkbeingdoneunderthesupervisionoftheteacherorhis

assistant• DeprivationfromattendingPEclasses• Deprivationfromatriporaschoolevent• Marksdeduction• E-mailsenttoparent,explainingtheissuewithsuggestedactions• Callonparentsforameetingwiththeconcernedteacher• Additionalhomework

Inallcases,shouting,screaming,swearing,touchingthestudent,orhavinghimstandforaperiodexceeding15minutesisforbidden.TeacherwillinformtheFormTeacherthentheEducationalHeadoftheincidentRewardsmustalsobethere.

SchoolUniform(DressCode)Student'sadhesiontotheschool'sfulldresscode(useofschool'suniform)iscompulsory.Anoralwarningwillbeissuedtoanystudentfailingtoadheretothispolicy.Secondoffence(Failingtoweartheuniformforthesecondtime)willresultindeprivingthestudentfromattendinghisclasses.Thestudent'sparentswillbeaskedtopickthestudentfromtheschool.Thefollowingregulationsshallapply:

• Jeansarenotallowedforallstudents• Alltypesofgirl'saccessories(exceptsmallearrings),especiallyringsanddangling

earringsarenotallowed.Girl'sheadbandsofanycolorexceptblue,blackandwhitearenotpermitted.Boyspony-tailsarenotallowed.

• Make-up,nailpolishetc.arestrictlyprohibited.• Allstudentsshallwearblackshoes.StudentsattendingPEorplayingsportswillwear

theircompleteuniforms,andwillbeallowedtobringalongtheirsportshoesandwillwearthemoncourt.

MobileUsageMobilesarenotallowedduringschoolhours.FloorSupervisorswillcollectmobilephonesfromallstudentsatthebeginningofthedayandwillbereturnedtothestudentsattheend

oftheday.OnlystudentsinGrades11and12willbeallowedtokeeptheirmobilephonesontheconditiontheseareleftintheirlockersduringclasses.Studentscaughthidingtheirmobilephonesorfailingtohandthesetothefloorsupervisorswillbedeprivedfromtheirmobilesforafullweekonthefirstoffenseanduntiltheendoftheacademicyearonthefollowingoffense.Grade11and12studentsfoundtousetheirmobilephonesduringclasses(exceptonAirplaneMode)willbedeprivedfromtheirmobilephonestilltheendoftheacademicyear.Anexceptionoftheabovewillbemadeincaseofemergency,andunderthesupervisionofateacher

LaptopsStudentsarerequiredtohavetheirLaptops/Tabletsinclass.Studentsmaybringtheirownlaptops.Asaservice,tabletsandlaptopsmaybeobtainedbyorderingthesefromtheschool.Forgettingalaptopornotbringingittoclassesisnotadmissible,asitwilldisrupttheteacher'swork,sinceallbookswillbedownloadedonthestudent'slaptopsinPDFfiles.

ToysUnlessauthorizedinadvancebyateacher,toysarenottoleratedonschoolgrounds.Unauthorizedtoysinthepossessionofastudentwillbeconfiscated.Theschoolwillnottakeanyactionincaseanunauthorizedtoyisreportedaslostormissing.Similarly,anytoytradingontheschoolgroundsisnottolerated.Toys,objectofsuchtradingwillbeconfiscated.

Lost&FoundLostandFounditemswillbecollectedfromclassesbyfloorsupervisors,whowillvisitalltoilets,corridors,labsetc.FloorSupervisorswilldeliverallLostandFounditemsattheschool'sReceptionDeskTheReceptionistwillkeepalogbooktomonitortheLostandFounditemsAttheendoftheyear,anyunclaimedLost&FounditemswillbedonatedtoCharity

The"TalkEnglish"policyTeachersareexpectedtotalkinEnglishatalltimes.StudentsshouldbeencouragedtoalsotalkinEnglish.Inlowergrades(Gr1toGr5)teacherscancreate"BragTags"oranyotherdeviceaimingatencouraging/discouragingstudentswiththepurposeofenforcingthe'TalkinEnglish'policy.ForUppergrades(Gr6toGr12)teacherscanaddmarks,coupons,PEorGameRoompasses.StudentsheardspeakinganyotherlanguagebutEnglishwillbepunishedbymarksdeductionetc.

Parents/TeachersMeetingEveryteacherwillselectanddedicateaweeklytimebrackettomeetthestudent'sparents.

Parentswillbenotifiedofthattimebracket,andareexpected,toavoidwaiting,toobtainpreviousappointments.Thisprocedurehasbeensettoensureavailabilityofteachers.KIASwillnotbeheldresponsibletowardssatisfyingaparentunscheduledvisit.Parents/TeachersmeetingswillbeheldintheMeetingRoomandattendedbytheEducationalHead.Teachersmustbepreparedforthemeetingandwillhaveallthestudent'sfilesathand.Minuteswillbetaken.Tea-TalkmeetingsandRiseandCoffeemeetingswillbeheldattheschoolpremisesonmonthlybasisforparentstosocializewiththeirchildren'steachers.

LockersEachstudentwillbeallocatedanumberedlocker.Padlockscanbeboughtatschool,orelsewhere.Itisthestudent'sresponsibilitytokeephisunattendedlockerlockedatalltimes.Incasepadlockskeysarelost,thepadlockwillbebroken,andthestudentwillneedtobuyanewone.

Garden–BreaksGradesfrom1to5willhaveahalfhourbreakfrom11:00to11:30Gradesfrom6to12willhaveaonehalfhourbreakfrom11:50to12:20Unlessauthorizedbyateacher,studentsarenotallowedtoremaininclassduringbreaksStudentsareexpectedtotakecareoftheschoolpremisesandmustnotthrowtrashexceptintrashcans.

SchoolPropertyIntendeddestroyingofschoolproperty,writingonwallsetc.willbeseverelypunished.Costofsuchrepairswillbechargedtothestudent.

DishParties–BirthdaysCelebrationsDishPartiesaretobeheldontheFoodFreeDay(Tuesday)duringbreaks(andnotduringlessons).DishPartiestakingplaceonanyotherdaysmustbehomemadeandinrespectwith"HealthyFood"criteria.Inallcases,studentsmustcleantheclassbeforetheendofthebreak.TimingforDishPartiesandBirthdayCelebrationsistobeagreeduponbetweenTeachersandStudents,andmustbereportedtoEducationalHeadnolessthanaweekinadvance.

BusesBusSupervisorsarefullyresponsibleofmaintainingstudent'sorderlyandwellbehavedconductinthebuses.StudentsfailingtorespecttheBusSupervisor'sinstructionswillbeseverelypunishedforendangeringtheircomrades'lives.AstudentobeyingtheBusSupervisor'sinstructionswithoutobjectionwillbeallowedtofileacomplaintattheOfficeoftheDirectorFinancesandAdministration.

StudentswillonlyaddressthedriverthroughtheBusSupervisors.BusDriverswillexecuteBusSupervisorsinstructions.FailingtoabidebytheseinstructionswilldeprivebusdriverfromtheirrighttofileacomplaintattheOfficeoftheDirectorFinances&Administration.Busesarenottostopatanyspotbuttheirapprovedstopstopick/droppassengers.Busesarenotexpectedtowaitforalatestudent.Incaseofastudent'sno-showexceeding2minutesafterpick-upschedule,thebusdriverwillleavethestop,anditwillbethestudent'sresponsibilitytocometoschoolbyhisownmeans.Nostopstobuyfood/drinksetc.onthewaywillbeaccepted.Breachesofthisrequirementwillbeseverelypunished.Driverswill,atalltimesrespectcirculationandtrafficrulesandregulations,undernocircumstanceswillabusexceedthepermittedspeedontheroad.TheBusSupervisorwillbeheldresponsiblefornotreportingsuchbreaches.BusDriversshallnotsmokeorusemobileswhiledrivingstudents.Onlyappropriatemusicshallbetoleratedinthebuses.

SchoolCopybooksStudentswillbehandedONEschoolcopybookforeachmainsubjectatthebeginningofeachsemester.Tearingpagesfromthecopybookisstrictlyprohibited.StudentsfromGrades1to4willbedeliveredtheircopybooksbythesubjectteacherwhowillretrievethemfromthewarehouse.StudentsfromGrades5toGrade12willretrievetheircopybooksatthewarehouseagainstapermissionobtainedfromEducationalHead.Shouldastudentneedanadditionalcopybook,hewillhavetopaytheamountofLE40atthecashier'soffice,Adeliverynotesignedbythecashierwillbeaddressedtothewarehouseofficerinstructinghimtodeliverthenotebooktothestudentwillbehandedtothelatest.

Teachers’AbsencesTeachersAbsencesmustbedocumented.AnAbsence/LeaveRequestFormisavailableandwillbeusedtodocumentallabsencesandleaves.Usageofe-mails,Whatsappsetc.addressedtotheEducationalHeadnolessthan2hoursbeforestartofschooldaywillonlybetoleratedtoinformofanEMERGENCYAbsence.InallcasestheAbsent/LeaveRequestformwillneedtobeusedtodocumenttheabsence.Teacherswillalwayshaveextraworkintheirdesks,andwillinformsubstitutingteachersofsuchworktoavoidwastingthelesson.Absentingteacherswillneedtocompensatefortheirabsencesbytakingclassesfromthesubstitutingteacher.HavingthestudentsgotoaPElessonasaresultoftheirteacher'sabsenceistobekepttoaminimallevelandonlybeusedasalastresource.Failingtoabidebytheabovewillresultinnegativecommentsontheappraisalformoftheteacherand/orsalarydeductions

EmergencyLessonsAbsenceswillnotbetoleratedunlessforagoodreason.OnlythePrincipalmayapprovethereasonofsuchabsence.Inallcases,teachersaretohaveworkreadyforasubstituteteachertoworkwiththestudents.Incaseanotherteacherisassignedtotakeuptheabsentteacher'slessonasanemergency,theabsentingteacherwillneedtocompensatethatteacherbytakingoneofhisclasses.ThisexchangeistobeapprovedbytheEducationalHead.Incasethisexchangedoesnottakeplace,theteacherwhohasgiventheEmergencyteachingwillbemonetarycompensatedaspertheagreeduponcompensationscheduledefinedbytheSchool'sPrincipal.

Teacher'sDressCodeMaintaininganappropriatedresscodeispartoftheimagetheschoolgivestoparents.ExceptonThursdays,sportdays,excursionsortrips,maleteachersarenotallowedtowearjeans, tee-shirts, sport shoes and sandals on the premises. While a formal suit is not arequirement,aformaldresscodeiswelcomed.Femaleteachersmaydressfreelyprovidemaintaininganappropriateappearance.Inallcases,thefollowingistobemaintained:

• NoFlip-flopsorsandalsaretolerated.• Rippedorwashed-outjeansarenottolerated• Shortskirtsandsleevelessshirtsarenottolerated• Bignose-piercingsoruncoveredtattoosarenottolerated

OnlyPEteachersareallowedtowearsportsattire,butnoJeansexceptonThursdays.Offensestothispolicywillresultinpenaltiesasshownintheschool'sconductcode.

ProjectsAtleastONEprojectineachofthemainsubjectsmustbecarriedoutbyeachstudenteveryyear.Groupworkisallowedprovidetheprojectisthoroughlyexplainedtotheteacherwhoneedstogivehisapprovalforgroupprojects.The project will be submitted on or before due date in either 3D form, in charts or as aPowerPointPresentation(alongwithprint-out)Teachers are required to have students participate in a quarterly projects competition.Rewardsmaybeadditionalmarksintheirsubjects,GamesRoompasses,Booksetc.In all cases, such projects will be seen by the Subjects Supervisors. An appreciationcertificatewillbedeliveredtooutstandingprojectsonGraduationDay.

ScienceLabScienceLabRuleswillbepostedatthedoorandinsidetheScienceLab.ScienceLabRulesaretobestrictlyadheredto.TeacherwillneedtowearwhitecoatsatalltimesinsidetheLab.

Studentsperformingexperimentsinthelabaretoweartheirwhitecoatsinadditiontoanyotherattire,asrequiredbytheirteacher.Failingtoabidebytheaboveruleswillresultinseveresanctions.

ArtRoomArtRoomRuleswillbepostedatthedoorandinsidetheArtRoomaretobestrictlyadheredto.Failingtodosowill result inthestudentrequiredtostayandcleanthedamageduringrecess.Grade1to4studentswillneedtowearapronswithnametags(tobeleftintheArtRoom)Art supplies required by teacher will be brought by the students to the class. Failing tocomplywiththisinstructionwillresultinmarksloss.NoArtLessonsshouldbetakeninclass.AllArtclasseswillbetakenintheArtRoomGrades1to6teachersareexpectedtocollectstudentsfromclass

Library–BooksBorrowingBorrowedbooksfromtheLibraryaretobereturnedwithinaperiodoftwoweeks.Incaseastudentloses/damagesabook,hewillbeaskedtoeitherbringanewbook(sametitleandsameedition)orrefundthecostofthebookatthecashier'sdesk.ThecostofthebookwillbedeterminedattheDirectorFinancesandAdministrationOffice.Astudentwhoislateatreturningaborrowedbookwithoutpermissionwillnotbeallowedtoborrowanyotherbookuntilhehasreturnedtheborrowedbook.Inaddition,ane-mailwillbesenttothestudent'sparent.

PhotocopyTeacherswillnotsendmaterialtobephotocopiedtotheCopyRoomunlessaPhotocopyRequesthasbeenapprovedbyboththeSubjectSupervisorandtheEducationalHead.TheCopyRoomstaffwillbeheldresponsibleforanybreachtothisrule.Exceptinanemergency(approvedbytheEducationalHead),photocopieswillbemadeavailabletotheteacheraftertwoworkingdays.StudentsarenotallowedtousethePhotocopyFacility

Clinic–NurseryAfullMedicalFileistobemaintainedintheClinicforeachoftheStudents.ItistheSchool'sDoctor'sresponsibilitytoensuresuchfilesareproperlymaintainedandtimelyupdated.StudentcasesofallergyorspecialmedicalconditionsaretobemadeknowntoallteachersinwritingandinthepresenceoftheEducationalHead.AdetailedlistoftreatedcasesshouldbemadeavailabletoEducationalHeadonweeklybasis.Amedicalcheck-upistobecarriedoutforeachstudentonmonthlybasis.AcopyoftheMedicalAuthorizationissuedbytheClinicwillbemadeavailabletoEducationalHeadincaseastudentisauthorizedtoabsentfromaclassduetoamedicalcondition.

NoSmokingPolicySmokingisnotallowedontheSchool'sgrounds.Busesareconsideredpartoftheschool'sgrounds.Teachersinneedofsmokingwilldosoatadistanceofnolessthan10metersfromtheschool'sboundaries,andbyallmeans,awayfromstudent'seyes.PenaltiesmentionedintheKIASPoliciesandProcedures(CodeofConduct)willbeappliedincaseofbreachestothispolicy.

CorridorPassesPasseswillbemadeavailabletoteachersbytheEducationalHead.Teachersmustcarryalltypesofpassesatalltimes.Astudentwhoisstoppedoutsideofhisclasswithoutapasswillbesentbacktoclassimmediately,andtheconcernedteachershallbereprimanded.

Student'sSuppliesStudentswillbringalongallmaterials/suppliestheywereaskedtobring.Borrowingsuppliesfromotherstudentsisnotallowed,exceptincaseofanemergency.Repeatedomissiontobringpersonalsupplieswillresultinthestudentbeingaskedtocompletehisclasswork/assignmentsathome.Additionalworkmaybeaskedtobepresentedbythestudent.

ClassroomsFormTeachersinGrades1to5areexpectedtodecoratetheirownclasses.Inuppergrades,SubjectTeacherswilljointogethertodecoratetheirfixedclasses.Maintenanceoftheequipment,wallsandpaintingcondition,cleanlinessoftheclassesistheresponsibilityoftheTeachers.Classesequipmentisexpectedtobehandedbackbyteachersattheendoftheyearingoodworkingcondition.CopiesofallclasskeysistobehandedtoSubjectsSupervisorsandEducationalHeadAcopyoftheClassKeysLockerwillbehandedundersealtotheDirectorAdministrationandFinances

TeachersGeneralRulesTeachersareresponsibleforthewell-beingoftheirstudents.Unattendedstudentsareavalidreasonforateacher'spenalization.TeacherswhodonotspeakEnglishamongsteachotherorwithstudentswillbepenalizedTeacherswhoarenotconsistentwithstudentswillbepenalizedTeacherswillnotdrinkbeverages(Tea,Coffee,carbonateddrinksetc.)inclassesorcorridors.Eachteacherisresponsibleforhisownclass.InadditiontotheclasskeysleftwiththeSubjectsSupervisorsandtheEducationalHead,akeyoftheclasswillremaininthecustodyoftheclassteacher.Teacherswillnotdeclineattendingandteachemergencyclasses.

Teacherswillnotsendstudentstothegardennomatterthereason.

FloorSupervisorsGeneralRulesUniform(noaccessories)andaverylightmake-up(noflashynailpolish)aretobemaintainedatalltimes,whetherontheschoolbusorintheschool.Nosportshoesorflipflopsareauthorized.Acceptingmoney,giftsetc.fromstudent'sparentsisareasonforterminationExchangingphonenumbersbetweenFloorSupervisorsandparentsorcallingaparentonthephoneisareasonforservicesterminationDistancebetweenFloorSupervisorsandparents/students’needstobekept.Crossingthebordersisforbiddenandmayconstitutegroundfortermination.Noloudvoicesorscreaming/shoutingistolerated.ItistheresponsibilityoftheFloorSupervisorstoensurealearningatmosphereismaintainedincorridors.FloorSupervisorsaretobephysicallypresentinthecorridorstheysupervise,preferablysittingattheirdesks.NoFloorSupervisorisallowedtoleaveherpostwithoutassigningasubstitute.Usageofmobilephones,chattingoraccessingsocialmediaisstrictlyforbidden.Whilefoodisonlypermittedduringpre-agreedtimebrackets,FloorSupervisorswillnotdrinkbeverages(Tea,Coffee,carbonateddrinksetc.)incorridors.Breakingastudent'smobilethatisinthecustodyofaFloorSupervisorisherresponsibility.Nomatterthereason,FloorSupervisorsarenottointerruptclasses.

ControlRoomTheControlRoomistheresponsibilityoftheControlManager.TheControlManagerreportstotheEducationalHeadControlRoomisresponsibleforalloperationsandactivitiesrelatedtoQuarterExams.TheControlRoomManagerwillissuebeforeeachquarterexamalistofregulationstobeadheredbyallteachers.ExceptforControlRoomStaff,entrancetotheControlRoomisstrictlyprohibited.AllenquiriesrelatedtoexamsshouldbeaddressedtotheControlRoomManager.AteacherthatisaparentofanyKIASstudentisnotallowedintheControlRoom.Teacherswhoteachastudentwhoisafirstdegreerelativewillnotbepermittedtosettheexamofthegradestheirrelativeareregisteredin.TheTeacher'sSupervisorwillsetthese.

ClassSupplies(Teachers)Attheendoftheacademicyear,eachteacherwillpreparealistofhisneededclasssuppliesforthefollowingyear.ThislistwillbeapprovedbytheTeacher'sSupervisorandbytheEducationalHeadandshouldbeconsistentwiththeclasssuppliesusedduringthepreviousyears.Eventually,suchsupplieswillconstitutepartoftheschoolsupplies.Intelligentlypreparingthislist,provideitismaintained,willbereasonforappreciation.Supplieswillbeboughtbytheschoolandkeptintheschool'swarehouse.TeacherswillsubmittheirweeklyneedsusingaSuppliesRequestFormtobedulyfilled.TheFormshallbeapprovedbytheteacher'ssupervisorortheEducationalHeadbeforebeing

deliveredtotheWarehouseSupervisor.Withtheexceptionofmarkersanddustersthatwilldelivereduponrequest,approvedsupplieswillbedeliveredbytheWarehousetotheteacheronthefollowingSunday.InallcasesemptymarkerswillbereturnedtotheWarehousebeforenewmarkersaredelivered.

Trips–EventsStudentsmustreturntheTrip/EventApprovalSlip,dulysignedbytheirparent,alongwiththementionedfee.Paymentofthefeewithouthandingbackthesignedslipwillnotbeconsideredasaenoughreasontoparticipateinthetrip.Tripsaretobeplannednolessthantwoweeksinadvance.TeachersmustgettheEducationalHead'sapprovalpriortoannouncingatriporevent.Arequeststatingtheneedtouseanyschoolfacilities(buses,drivers,supervisors,cashadvancesetc.)withtheapprovaloftheEducationalHeadwillbeaddressedtotheDirectorAdministrationandFinancesforhisapproval/authorizationpriortoaddressinganyoftheschool'sstaff.Anytripnotfollowingtheaboverequirementswillbeautomaticallycancelled.Teacherswilladheretothetrip'splanandschedule.Improvisationwillbeseverelypunished.Phonecallsexchangedbetweenteachersandparentsrelatedtoanystudentwillbeconsideredundone.

SubjectTeacher'sMeetingToensureproperadhesiontocurriculumrequirements,thefollowingmeetings(scheduledinadvance)willtakeplacetodiscussstudent'sprogressandsolutionstoissuesfaced:EnglishSubjectTeacherswillmeetwiththeEducationalHeadnolessthanonceaweekMath/ScienceTeacherswillmeetnolessthanonceeverytwoweeksasdecidedbySubjectSupervisors.EducationalHeadshallattendthesemeetingsFrench/ArabicTeacherswillmeetnolessthanonceamonth,asdecidedbySubjectSupervisors.ThesemeetingswillbeattendedbytheDirectorforArabicLanguageandtheDirectorforFrenchLanguageaswellastheEducationalHead.Art/PE/SSA/Historywillmeetonceeverymonth.ThismeetingwillbeattendedbyEducationalHead.

Exams/QuizzesEachteacherhasagradingsheet(foundintheteacher'sbinder)thatplansfor:FourQuarterExamsintheentireacademicyearTwomonthlyquizzesperQuarterPopQuizzesarealsoallowed.Student'smarksandgradesaretoberecordedbytheconcernedteachersImprovementplansaretobesetattheearliestpossibletimeandhandedtoSupervisorsandEducationalHeadtoenableweakstudentstoimprove.Teachersarenotsupposedtocommunicategradestoparentsoverthephone.Teachersarenottotalkaboutanystudent,eitherwithparentsorwithotherteachers.Absenceswithanexcuseareacceptablebutarenottoberepeatedwithoutanexcuse.10markswillbedeductedncaseofastudentiscaughtcheatingduringaquiz.Ifastudentiscaughtcheatingduringanexam,hisnamewillbecommunicatedtotheControlRoomManagerformoresevereaction.

StudentsAttendance–AbsencesAstudentabsentingfromschoolforanyreasonthansicknessmusteithersubmitaparent'snotedulyfilledandsignedorhavehisparentsendane-mailtotheEducationalHeadpriortoabsenting,explainingthereasonoftheabsence.OnlySicknessabsenceswillbeacceptedafterthefact,andshouldbeapprovedbyaphysician,orparentsdocumented.Teacherswillrepeatthelessonstptheabsentstudentincasetheaboveisstrictlyadheredto,andthereasonoftheabsenceapprovedbytheEducationalHead.Similarly,quizzeswillberepeatedincasetheabsenceisdocumented.SuchapprovalistheEducationalHeadresponsibility.

Student'sCouncilPolicy

Student'sCouncilmembersareselectedbystudents.NostudentmaybeselectedintheStudent'sCouncilmorethantwoconsecutiveyears.Student'sCouncilconsistsoftheStudent'sCouncilPresident,theVice-Presidentandfivemembers.StudentsCouncilwillmeetweeklyasperapresetscheduletodiscussgoals,projects,student'seventsandstudent'sconcernsMinutesofMeetingwillbepreparedanddiscussedwithEducationalHeadAnIntroductionletterdescribingtheabovewillbesenttoparentsandstudents.Student'sCouncilMemberswillbeallocatedextragradestocompensatefortheireffortstryingtomakeachangeintheschool'senvironment.Student'sCouncilmemberswillformteamswiththepurposeofinterviewingtheirfellowstudentsandgatherinformationontheirconcerns.SuchquestionsneedtobeagreeduponwiththeEducationalHead.NoquestionnaireorhandoutswillbedeliveredtostudentsunlesstheybeartheEducationalHeadsignature.AStudent'sCouncilmemberfailingtoperformtothesatisfactionofhispears,whofailstoachieveandcompleteassignedtaskswillbeimmediatelyreplacedbyanothermember.HewillsubsequentlyloseallhispreviouslyearnedgradesasaStudent'sCouncilMember,andwillloseallopportunitiestobeselectedasaStudent'sCouncilMemberagain.Complaintscomingfromfellowstudentsorfromteachers,relatedtoStudent'sCouncilMembersbehavior,thatprovetoberightfullybasedwillresultintheirloosingmarksandorbeexpelledfromtheStudent'sCouncilMembership.MembersofStudent'sCouncilmaynotusethisprivilegetobeexcusedfromclasses.MissingclassestoperformtasksrelatedtotheirmembershipintheStudent'sCouncilisstrictlyforbidden.Student'sCouncilMembersarerequiredtokeepinformationmadeavailabletothemduetotheirstatusasmembersoftheStudent'sCouncilconfidential.Failingtoobserveconfidentialityofsuchinformationmayresultinseveresanctions.AlldocumentsexchangedbetweentheCouncilandtheSchool'sManagementwilltakeplaceinaprofessionalmanner,throughe-mails.Anyothermodeofexchangingdocumentsorinformationshallnotbeconsidered.
