Winter Donations Campaign

Young Pioneers

” Students Affairs Office organized Young Pioneers on March 3rd, 2015. A number of speakers shared their experiences in different fields. The speakers were Sara Alwadhani, Cinema Makeup Artist, Shahed AlRwidhan,

photographer and Heba Anqawi, owner, My Special Computer project.

Students Affairs Office organized Winter

Donations Campaign in cooperation with

Bunyan Charity Association on December 2nd,

2014 to December 19th, 2014. The donations

contained clothes. Azir Program supervised the

event. 32 boxes were prepared and sent to

Bunyan.

cooperation with Sanad Charity

Association organized the

Annual Charity Bazaar “This Is

Me! 2015” on March 11th and

12th , 2015 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

in Building# 2, Main Hall at

Prince Sultan University –

College for Women. The Bazaar

presented small businesses by

students or participants from

outside the University. 50% of

the income was given to Sanad.

3 rd Alumni Reunion

3rd Inter-Universities Debate Competition

The Alumni Union held the 3rd PSCW

Alumni Reunion on April 7th, 2015. The

event aimed to maintain friendly and

professional communication and to meet

faculty and administrative members.

The Student Affairs Office

held the 3rd University Debate

Competition on Tuesday, April 7th,

2015. All public and private

universities in Riyadh were invited

to participate in this competition.

This competition aimed to:

encourage debate activities within

the University; train students on

wise logical thinking, research skills

and oral presentation; to prepare

them to participate in official

conferences; stimulate (youth

awareness) concept; enhance the

awareness of current international

issues; support interactive academic

environment; encourage team spirit

and to represent the university in

which the student belongs to in an

appropriate way. The topic was about

Riyadh Metro.

Dar Al Uloom University won the 1st

place.

Azir Program in cooperation

with ICTA held the World Arabic

Language Day on December

18th, 2014 at PSU – CW.

Azir Program in cooperation with the Public Relations Office hosted

Disabled Children Association. The event started with a word by Ms.

Mona Al-Kalthami. The Dean of PSU – CW presented a word. Then a

mother of a disabled child shared her experience with guests. After

that, the entertaining program with Azir volunteers which included

coloring and cake decoration started.

International Autism Day

Azir Program in cooperation with

the Public Relations Office hosted

Autism Families Association. 12

children from the Association

attend this event. The event

started with Saudi National

Anthem presented by group of

children, a Quran recitation by a

group of children, then a short film

about autism.

After that, a word presented by a

mother of an autistic child and a

word by an official in the

association explaining autism,

symptoms and therapy. The Dean

of PSU-CW presented a word.

Then the entertaining program

started which included coloring

and clay.

Competition

The contest was held on Tuesday,

November 12th, 2014, from 11 to 1

at PSCW front yard. This contest

aimed to encourage innovation

skills and team work and develop

student leadership skills. The teams

consisted of 5 members ( 1 Chief

and 4 co-chiefs). Each team was

evaluated according to: Food

Presentation, Taste, and

Preparation. Awards (SACO gift

certificates) were presented to the

3 winning teams

Students Affairs Office in cooperation with the 6th Student Council

organized a welcoming week on August 31st – September 4th, 2014. The

Welcoming Week included Ask Me! Campaign which aims to help new

students and answer enrolled students' questions about offices and

classes. A group of volunteered students where around PSU-CW

buildings to help students. Students Agenda and Academic Calendar

were distributed.

” The Students Affairs Office organized the "Club Fair" on Wednesday, September 17th, 2014, from 12 – 1, at Building # 2, Main Hall. The event aimed to introduce clubs' goals and activities to students who want to join a club; give a chance to club members (students) to introduce clubs' activities, present new ideas,

establish new clubs that

correspond to the University

Goals, to communicate with each

other and share experiences.

7th Student Council

Campaigns and Elections

Students Affairs Office organized 7th Student Council Campaigns and Elections from November 2nd to December 9th, 2014. The results were announced on December 10th, 2014. The students elected Ms. Norah Al-Owaidah to represent the 7th Student Council.

84th Saudi National Day

Students Affairs Office organized

the 84th Saudi National Day on

Wednesday, September 22nd,

2014, from 9 – 1:30. at Building 2

Main Hall. The event aimed to

enrich the national identity and

loyalty towards the Country;

explain the important role of the

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia unifier

King Abdulaziz Al Saud to unify

this Country; relate the student

with their past and their bright

future and security blessings; and

maintain the Country and

develop its historical and cultural

achievements. The event

included Traditional food corner,

Painting Corner, Malameh AlFan

Studio which is owned by PSU-

CW Graduates, KSA Map (Specify

what region you are from), Gift

items and Henaa Corner.
