The Finance Team noticed that while they had literature, public health, culinary arts, creative writing and music represented, they lacked a member in the area of Chemical Engineering. Lana brings years of professional experience with her, including work where she participated in the launch of the American University of Iraq. She also brings diversity to the team with her Arabic language skills.

Artist: No Doubt Album: Push & Shove Release date: Sept. 25, 2012 No Doubt has been around a long, long time, and they have the same magic they did when I was a kid. From “Just a Girl” in 1995 to “Underneath it All” in 2001, No Doubt’s sound is
enduring, even after 20 years of making music. This is a pure example of American pop culture! The new album carries with it a sound reminiscent of the 90s, and No Doubt pulls it off perfectly. From the first single, “Settle Down,” which is fun, peppy and energetic, to the more low-key “Easy,” the album is great to listen to.
Artist: Kanye West Album: Good Music, Cruel Summer Release date: Sept. 18, 2012 Ever since The College Dropout was released in 2004, I’ve been a Kanye West Fan. Growing up in southern California, and frequently flying out of
Ontario International Airport, meant that my airport was where the video for “All Fall Down” was filmed - that felt pretty cool. Through all his drama and controversy, I still think Kanye West makes good music. Good Music, Cruel Summer is no exception. “Mercy” is all the rage lately, and “To the World” is so far the most popular song on iTunes.
