Don't#appear#to#have#an#attitude.#Demonstrate#efficacy!
Do#be#on#time#EVERY#DAY. If#possible,#arrive#at#school#before#your#teacher#does.
Don't#be#the#first#person#to#leave#the#building#in#the#afternoon.
Do#be#courteous#and#polite.Don't#call#your#cooperating#teacher#by#their#first#name#unless#they#
specifically#tell#you#to#do#so. That#goes#for#the#principal#also.
Do#dress#appropriately#and#professionally.#Don't#wear#something#if#you#are#unsure#about#it. No#one#expects#you#to#
have#a#different#outfit#every#day,#but#be#appropriate.
Do#ask#what#you#can#do#to#help.Don't#put#off#doing#a#task#your#teacher#has#given#you. Do#it#right#away.
Do#ask#many#questions.Don't#be#afraid#to#ask#if#you#don't#understandGtake#notes#to#remember!
Do#cut#down#on#working#hours#outside#of#school.Don't#work#at#all#if#possible. You#will#have#a#lot#to#do#while#you#are#student#
teaching#and#you#need#as#much#time#as#possible.
Do#complete#and#give#your#teacher#your#lessons#plans#on#time.Don't#wait#for#the#teacher#to#ask#for#them.
Do#be#professional#in#discussing#children#in#your#classes.Don't#listen#to#or#pass#along#gossip.
Do#be#present#every#day#for#student#teaching.Don't#be#absent#unless#you#are#truly#sick.
Do#show#initiative.#Don’t#wait#to#be#asked#to#help#a#student#or#share#an#idea.#Volunteer#to#work#on#projects#outside#of#your#classroom.
