Student Representative Council Overview
The Student Representative Council offers the students of the Al Noori Muslim School an opportunity to
represent their peers in a leadership role. Students in the senior class are eligible for selection as executive
members of the SRC. Executive positions include Captain, Vice-Captain, Secretary, Treasurer and Prefects. Two
class members from every class from K-12 are elected by their peers to represent them at the meetings and to
report back to the class on the decisions that the council members have made.
The SRC are responsible for fundraising for various charities that they select throughout the year, for organising
and holding school events and for raising money and purchasing selected equipment that they feel would benefit
the whole school population.
