STUDENT REFERRALS Origins Education employs a referral policy that allows students to earn side pocket money while helping their friends

maximize their potential.

Origins Education will offer a referral fee of $150 in total for every confirmed student referred. Payment will be

disbursed in 2 batches:

1 st Disbursement: $75 Dollars upon student’s first paid lesson

2 nd Disbursement: $75 Dollars upon the student’s second month of enrollment.

ABOUT ORIGINS EDUCATION

Origins Education is not your conventional tuition centre.

We believe that education can be used to instil discipline, innovation, confidence, and unleash hidden potential, and that

there is room for a more elegant solution to the question of educating the generation of youths.

1) Education Through Design

Many institutions educate based off “gut -feel”. We beg to differ. With us, students will learn according to their own pace,

with an expertly designed, scientifically-tested syllabus crafted to move above and beyond the speed and efficacy of a

typical junior college.

2) Academic Excellence What use is practical knowledge if the opportunities to apply them never arise? In order to navigate the increasingly

grade-inflated University landscape of Singapore, we believe that academic excellence is the primary goal for our

organization, and we guarantee that with us, every student has the potential to score the grades they deserve. Studies,

as with any worthwhile endeavour in life, has to do with overcoming oneself.

3) Stewardship

With the small class size of 1 tutor : 6 students, we ensure that students have the guidance and support they need. We

take our job very seriously and view every student that walks through our doors as a work of art that needs polishing,

both rough and gentle. For students who are ready to walk the academic journey with us, we will support them every

step of the way. “Learning is not child’s play; we cannot learn without pain.”

4) Experiential Learning

“For the things we have to learn before we can do them, we learn by doing them.” – Aristotle

We believe that academics and education are a means to an end, and not and end in itself. We integrate realistic

expectations and understandings of the world into our pedagogy, enabling our students to have a realistic and grounded

point of view that will serve them in good stead. We prepare our students for life through exposing them to internship

opportunities, apprenticeship opportunities, international trips, available to our students only after their academic

pursuits. Students will have an unbridled safe space to learn, grow and explore.

SYLLABUS DESIGN At Origins Education, we get down to the origins of education. We break down the A-Level expectations to exact

specifics that can be taught, monitored and trained to our students.

We know that a well-thought out programme, configured to our small class sizes allows our tutors to optimize the

transfer of skills in it’s purest form, at the shortest amount of time possible.

We believe that our syllabus design will revolutionize the way students learn in the classroom, and we are always

seeking to improve our methods.

Our most recent syllabus development was spearheaded by Prof. Soon Loo, (Adjunct Lecturer from SMU, NTU and

Harvard Masters Graduate) and we look forward to working hand in hand with other distinguished educators.
