3. Enter the “Code” for verification purpose.

4. Click “Submit” button to proceed.

Launch Internet browser (Explorer/Mozilla Firefox/Chrome)

Go to MYUM Student Portal website at http://myum.um.edu.my/

1. Click on “Student Login” button to start surfing the website

5. Inside the Student Portal, you will see the option icons, under the “Undergraduate” and “Services” tab as shown in Figure 1c.

1. Click on “Profile” icon at “Undergraduate” Home page.

2. Your personal details will be displayed and cannot be edited except for Parliament and Residence items, as in Figure 1.1a.

3. Select the Parliament or Residence item you wish to update.

4. Click “Submit” button to save records.

For any amendment or enquiry of other information, please refer to Admission & Records Section (SKR).

1. Under the “Current Address” tab, you can check your current address by open academic session and semester, as in Figure 1.1c

2. You can also update your accommodation zone, contact number, email address and your current address for latest academic session and semester.

3. For those who are staying at residential colleges, your address will be defaulted as residential college and cannot be edited.

4. Click “Submit” button to update records.

1. Go to “Academic Background” tab to check your SPM/STPM/Equivalent details, as shown in Figure 1.1b

2. Your academic background details will be displayed and cannot be edited except for Type of School, Name of School, Start Year and End Year items.

3. Click “Submit” button to save records.

1. Go to the “Next-of-Kin” tab to check your next-of kin information, as shown in figure 1.1d.

2. You can amend any incorrect or outdated information.

3. Once done, click “Submit” button to update your record.

Go to the Undergraduate homepage at http://myum.edu.my.

1. Click on the “Academic Programme” icon.

2. Select “Programme Details” icon.

3. Your current/previous study information will be displayed and cannot be edited, as in Figure 1.2b.

For further enquiries, please refer to the Admission & Records Section (SKR).

4. Go back to “Academic Programme” Home page, and select on “Programme Structured” icon

List of all fulfillment (will be displayed as) and all related subjects to your programme, shown in figure 1.2c

5. Click on “Subjects Required” tab to check all related subjects for your programme.

6. Click on “Subjects Registered” tab to check your registered subjects by session and semester.

7. Click on “Subjects from Previous Programme” tab, to check your previous programme information (if any).

Go to Undergraduate Home page, click on “Examination” icon.

Once inside the Examination page, you will see the option icons, as shown in figure 1.4a.

1. Students can print the examination slip by selecting the icon “Print Exam Slip” for current examination semester upon getting approval from Examination Section.

For any enquiry, please refer to the Examination Section.

Go back to “Academic Programme” Home page, select on “Time table” icon.

1. Select Session and Semester and enter the Subject Code you want to search and click “Submit” button.

2. The information will be listed as shown in figure 1.3a

3. Back to the Examination Home page, click on “Exam Time Table” icon

4. Click on the “Click here” to view the exam time table information for each registered subject.

For any enquiry, please refer to the Examination Section.

1. Back to the Examination Home page, click on “Exam Result” icon

The page will be displayed as shown in figure 1.4b

2. Choose Session and Semester then click the “Submit” button to view your exam result.

1. Back to the Examination Home page, click on the “Barring Appeal” icon

2. List of subjects which has been barred by lecturer, will be displayed as shown in Figure 1.4e ( for current session and semester )

Back to the Examination Home page, click on the “Fullfilment” icon

1. List of all fulfillment related to your registered subjects will be displayed as shown in Figure 1.4d

Go to Undergraduate Home page, click on the“Cocuriculum Activities” icon.

1. Click on the “Merit” icon.

The page will be displayed as shown in figure 1.5b.

2. Click on “Add New” to add more activities.

Go to Undergraduate Home page, click on “Meeting & Activity” icon.

To apply Meeting and Activity under a society as shown in Figure 1.6c.

3. Click on “Click here to Apply New Activity”.

For any enquiry of other information, please refer to the Student Affairs Division.

Go to Undergraduate Home page, click on “Cocuriculum Activities” icon.

1. Click on “Member Registration” icon to apply as a member in any listed Societies.

The page will be displayed as shown in Figure 1.6b.

2. Click on “Click here to apply to be a member of a Society”.

1. Choose the 3 choices of residential college then submit.

2. Figure 1.7a will be displayed after the application have been accepted/ acknowledged.

Go to Academic Programme Home page, select on “CTES” icon.

1. Enter your Username and Password (Use your siswamail account).

2. Click “Login” to proceed.

Make sure you understand the displayed messages before you proceed to do your CTES evaluation.

To apply for e-Industrial Training, go to Undergraduate Home page, select on “e-Industrial Training” icon.

How to: Register for e-Industrial Training3

Click on the “e-resume” icon

1. Here, you can update your details such as;

• Candidate’s Details• Edit Mailing Address Details• Previous School Background (SPM, STPM, A-Levels or equivalent)• Educational Background• Skills• Language Profiency• Activities• Work Experience• Reference Details• Upload Supporting Documents

2. Once done, click “Save” button to update your information.

How to: Register for e-Industrial Training

1. Go to e-Industrial Training Home page, select on “Placement Search” icon

2. Here, you can search and choose the organization you want to do your e-Industrial Training as shown in Figure 3c

3. Once done, your co-ordinator will act on your application.

4. Once your co-ordinator has done their part, the organization will received your application and will do the selection.

For any enquiry, please refer to CiTRA or Coordinator.

5. Go to e-Industrial Training Home page, select on “View Placement Details” icon

to view list of organisations and status that you have applied.

1. Go to e-Industrial Training Home page, select on “Register Course” icon.

2. Your information will be displayed and cannot be edited, as in Figure 3e.

3. Enter the information required and click “Submit” button.

Go to Student Online Registration website at http://register.um.edu.my

Click on “Online Registration” button.

1. Enter your Username and Password (Use your siswamail account)

2. Click “Login” to proceed.

Make sure you understand the “Registration Agreement” and click “I Agreed” to confirm the agreement.

3. Once inside the Online Registration page, enter the course code to register, as shown in the Figure 4b

How to: Access Confirmation Registration Website

Go to Student Online Registration website at http://register.um.edu.my

Click on “Confirmation Registration” button.

1. Enter your Username and Password (Use your siswamail account).

2. Click “Login” to proceed.

Make sure you understand the “Registration Agreement” and click “I Agreed” to confirm the agreement.

1. Students are required to fill up the survey online form as shown in Figure 5b.

2. Complete this form until you see the ‘Thank You’ page.

3. Click the ‘Online Registration Confirmation’ button to start doing your course confirmation.

4. Once inside the “Online Registration Confirmation” page, list of your registered subjects will be displayed, as shown in the Figure 5c.

5. Click the “Confirm Your Registration” button to confirm your registered courses’
