7. It is very important to ask questions if you do not understandsomething - there are no dumb questions!

8. The teachers are usually available after school. This is the time

to ask for extra help on anything or to check your grades.

9. You may not be in the halls or return to the room during recess and lunch

without teacher permission.

DURING CLASS

should be noted so they will be finished on time.3. If there are any special circumstances which cause you to miss an

assignment, a note from your parents is acceptable, and the work will

be treated as an absent assignment.

4. Homework should usually take ~ 45 minutes . If you are spending

more than 1 hour, every night, you need to talk to your teacher about

ILLNESS AND MAKE-UP WORK

1. Please stay home if you are sick. Germs spread quickly in a class.

2. Bring a note for the office when you return to school.

3. See the absent folder for your work. Check with the teacher.

4. Work missed during an absence must be made up as soon as possible

after you return to school. If absent more than 2-3 days, see the

teacher to schedule due dates.

5. In an extended absence of 3 or more days, have your parents call the

office for make-up work and assignments.

6. Label absent work "absent" at the top so it is not confused with

"late" papers.

I understand the items in this manual and will do my best to follow them.
