Introduction The college will be accepting online video submissions in order to reduce the turnaround time of assessments. This efficiency means the student will be receiving feedback for their assessment much quicker than what they are usually used to. If the student isn‟t already familiar with a video file converter (making the size of the video file smaller – so it can be uploaded easier) then this guide will introduce them to Format Factory (PC Users) which is free media converter program that is a fully-featured, multifunctional media converter that enables them to convert audio, video, and even images to a reasonable size. The student will need to use this program to convert their video recording into a compatible file so they can upload their assessment to my.acap. Please note: Once you have converted the file to a reasonable size – and you are ready to upload your assessment, it may take from 10-20min to upload to my.acap, so

please be patient. Important: MAC Users will have to download a different free video convertor program from the following link: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/12987/handbrake The Format Factory (PC User) program can be downloaded from http://www.formatoz.com/download.html
