Elections: Tuesday, August 25, 2015Students must apply for these committee positions, using the attached application form. Election by written ballot will be conducted on Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at the regularly-scheduled SGA meeting in SS/CB Lecture Hall. Candidates are not required to attend the election meeting. However, we strongly encourage you to attend and to be prepared to make a two-minute presentation about why you believe you are the best candidate for the position. Following presentations from all candidates for a given committee, the SGA representatives may ask questions of the candidates to help them determine which person might be the best representative. Balloting will take place immediately following the Q&A session for each committee. Presentations and elections will be in the order in which the committees are listed on the following page and on the committee application, with the election result announced for one committee before proceeding to the next committee.

In addition to this estimated monthly time commitment, all committee representatives are required to attend a mandatory training session (date and time to be announced).
