Pretend you are a reporter or journalist.

Choose a character from the book to do an interview with. Conduct your ‘interview’ using 5-10 questions, including answers to the questions as the character would give them.OR:Do an ‘interview’ with the author, Eoin Colfer using 5-10 questions. You can use both the internet and your imagination to answer your questions as if you were the author.

Your interview can be in written, audio, or video format. Please note that if you choose to send a video, I will need to upload it to my Youtube account for sharing with the class – but rest assured that I will keep the viewing settings ‘private’ so that only the class with the link can see it, not the general internet public! Or, if you have your own Youtube account, you can just send me the link to your video. J

Choose one of the characters from the book and do a character study. Some things you might include are:• Occupation• Characteristics• Strengths/Weaknesses• Interesting or relevant details• A drawing of your character

Imagine you are a movie producer and you are making a movie of Artemis Fowl. Who would you cast in the movie?

Create a cast list for the movie, showing who you would choose for the main roles. Please be sure to include the following:• Names and pictures of your cast members• A description of WHY you chose each actor for their role

Artemis Fowl has been adapted into a Graphic Novel, incorporating many of the features of that genre to entertain young fans of the series.

Create your own page or two of a graphic novel, representing your favourite scene from the book.
