Preface

This MSc.Soc SEM 2014 Student Bio has been prepared to assist the students, the advisory board of the

Service Management Master program, and other interested parties in this study to gain an overview of the

student’s background; in addition, it serves as an information base for the TCM center to analyze, so as to

obtain an in-depth insight into the expectation of most of the students from this program. Furthermore,

this Bio will also function as a reference for TCM to fine tune the course content to meet prospected stu-

dents perspectives as well as the labor market’s demand.

In 2014, 91 students were enrolled to the MSc.Soc. SEM study, which is taught in English. Of these 91 en-

rolled students, approximately 50 participated in the intro days (27th – 30th of August).

It is voluntary for students to hand in their bio, and a total of 49 students have chosen to contribute to the

Bio publication.

It is hoped that this booklet will contribute to connecting students and to create basis for contacts between

students and businesses.

Journeys…are one of the most important part of my life and the reason for which I applied to enhance my

knowledge about this domain. Travelling makes me free and makes me meeting some people, sharing

experiences and feelings. Travelling for me is the second nature. What can work better with a journey? A

good book; therefore books are another interest.

Something about me

Having an international experience, I had to work with a lot of people during my Erasmus framework, so

working in groups not only that is challenging, but also help building new growing perspectives as from

every individual you have something to learn.

The type of environment which is international is in the same time a creative one as every international

works in a different way, so creation and diversity is perfect match

I would prefer to be a specialist in the domain in which I am working with, being the best is a key-point in

my motivation and makes me continuing this way to achieve it.

Main interests

Movies and series is my escape from the real world. I love movies, tv-series and also books, since

experiencing these makes me revitalize. Beside that, I am very social, and need to be around people, to

broaden my perspectives, and to keep myself up to date.

Something about me

As a person, I am very short tempered. It is my Achilles heel. But I have come to se it as an advantage as

well. I make sure that processes and discussion move forward, and I make sure that work doesn’t stagnate.

This I believe makes me an organizer. I perform best in groups, since I find that discussion is one of the most

motivating factors when I’m working and developing ideas.

I want to start my own business in Copenhagen starting from a Chinese tea

business, gradually covering restaurant, hotel, and consulting fields.

Education

Bachelor of Economics, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, 2013

Work experience

2013-2013 Intern, Sofitel Zhengzhou International, China

2014-2014 Waitress, Sea Dragon Restaurant, New Zealand

2014-2014 Worker, Ahipara Holiday Park, New Zealand

Linguistic qualifications

Chinese (Mandarin): Native

English: Fluent

Danish: Basic

Main interests

I have passion in tea. Not only because drinking tea is a healthy life-style to fresh up and gain nutrition, but

also because tea itself has stories to tell. Stories about its origination, history, producing progress and

serving art are quite interesting, as well as the eastern philosophy hidden behind it. As for sports, I’m crazy

about surfing and dancing. Because when I surf, I can feel the amazing power of nature attaching to mine

and I get rid of all of the negative thoughts. The latter also happens when I dance.

Something about me

I’m a goal-oriented person. I feel motivated when I’m working on a creative and promising program.

International environment should be perfect for me because as an Asian in Europe, I automatically and am

also willing to take the responsibility of cultural interaction and international business communication.

When it comes to my own business program, I am a progressive thinker while a cautious executor. But when

I’m an employed organizer or executor I turn to be more open to rapid changes in a program. As a group

member I respect all the members’ ideas, finish my task to a best standard as I can and help organizing. I do

not seek to be an organizer in every group I’m in because being organised can learn about the organizer’s

leading philosophy thus I could improve mine. I aim to live every day to the most and learn the most from

everybody and everything.
