Our Ombudsman and ACE programs have a social responsibility to provide services that change the direction of our students’ lives. Throughout the school year we measure student growth, the fidelity and effectiveness of our program implementation and our ability to offer hope.

Beginning with the fundamental question -- are we meeting our contractual and social responsibilities -- we determine the impact Ombudsman and ACE has on families, partners, communities and, most importantly, our students’ lives.

The four pillars below establish a framework for providing our services with guaranteed accountability. The data presented in this report reflect the 2015-16 school year results for Ombudsman nationwide, and our ACE programs in Missouri.

”Because of Ombudsman, I decided to go out and be someone and to enjoy life to the fullest because we all deserve to explore and travel the world. Ombudsman gave me the courage to reach for the stars, as no other school has ever done before. My ultimate future career is now within my reach – to be a paramedic or a firefighter. With a diploma in hand, I can accomplish anything.

– Johnny L., Student

”The teachers are amazing and the environment is truly motivating. Their goal is our goal – to make sure that we graduate and achieve our dreams. What I really love is that there’s no tolerance for ‘I can’t’ – Ombudsman helps us to realize that we can.

For me, traditional high school offered too many distractions and too many bad influences. When I started taking classes at Ombudsman, things changed. At Ombudsman, they have flexible schedules that help me balance life and school; and, the teachers and staff help me stay focused on earning my diploma and planning for life after high school.
