“Flexi Block“ – Ceramic Bead Bath for Block Heaters

Filled with special ceramic beads, the “Flexi Block“ inserts for the Stuart block heaters (see page 3) allow to heat and warm samples in different kind of vessels: any diameter test tubes, microtubes, vials, cuvettes as well as microplates. The “Flexi Block” can be used instead of water baths in order to exclude the risk of contamination by splash water or condensed water. They can be used with all Stuart block heaters (see page 3). The ceramic beads are autoclavable and offer an excellent thermal transmission up to 100 °C and can also be cooled or frozen and used then as ice bath replacement.
