About the Siemens-CoE:CoE has established relevant laboratories having Siemens products and Siemens Industry software applications. The equipments which have been provided by Siemens are of state-of-the-art level. The laboratories which have been established at Government Engineering, Bhavnagar under CoE, are - Product Design and Validation Lab, Advanced Manufacturing Lab, Automation Lab, Electrical Lab, Mechatronics Lab, Process Control & Instrumentation Lab, CNC Programming Lab, Rapid Prototyping Lab and CIM Simulation Lab.
Objective of the Course:This course has been designed to enrich participants with knowledge of Automation and system overview, TIA software, hands on practices on PLC-SCADA and analog signal processing as well as application based programming.
For Whom: Faculties from engineering and polytechnic institutes, professionals, research scholars, PG scholars and B.E. final and Pre final year students of EC, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Production engineering having zeal to learn Mechatronics engineering are invited to participate and enrich their knowledge.

About The Institute
Government Engineering College (GEC), Bhavnagar is a State Governed institution recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Ahmedabad. The institute offers undergraduate programs in engineering disciplines of Mechanical, E.C. Production, Computer, I.T. and Civil. The institute is located just 1.5 KM away from the State transport Depot and 2.5 KM away from Bhavnagar Railway Station. The institute is having huge newly constructed buildings with all modern amenities. The library is having more than 14000 books collection for all subjects. Electronics and Communication engineering department was established in the year of 2008 with aims to provide industry oriented need based quality technical education. Highly qualified and experienced faculties are the real strength of this department. Besides this, department has domain specific equipped laboratories, workshop and a modern computer centre with latest computer systems powered with internet connectivity with 100 MBPS lease line.
