FAST ROTOR SPEED: Controlsthe speed of the rotors in FASTspeed.

MIC DISTANCE: Varies thedistance of the stereo mics fromthe horn rotor and the singlemic on the woofer rotor. Turntowards minimum for a morepronounced, aggressive hornsound with mics up close. Turntowards maximum for moreambience. The effect will bemost audible with the horn rotor.

PREAMP DRIVE: Controls thedrive of the rotary cabinet’stube preamp and phase inverterstages. Turn up for a moreoverdriven cab sound.

HORN LEVEL: Controls the outputlevel of the highfrequency hornrotor.

SLOW / FAST FOOTSWITCH: Changes the motor speed from fast toslow. HOLD for brake .

BYPASS FOOTSWITCH: Engages and disengages effect. Bypass mode istrue bypass . LED on indicates that the effect isengaged.

Hold down SLOW/FAST and BYPASS to access all secondary functions onthe knobs.

( ACCELERATION )

ACCELERATION: Controlshow quickly the rotorstransition from Fast to Slowand from Slow to Fast speed. The rotors will accelerateindependently. The lowfrequency rotor acceleratesmore slowly just like an actualrotating speaker system.

CAB DIRECTION: Changes theposition of the cabinet relative tothe microphones. In the FRONTorientation (counterclockwise)the sound travels through theslats in the wood cabinet. In theREAR orientation (clockwise),the the cabinet is open for adifferent sound. The defaultposition is REAR.

SLOW ROTORSPEED: Controlsthe speed of therotors in SLOWspeed.

LEVEL: Controlsthe +/- 6dB boostor cut when thepedal is engaged(12:00 on the

PREAMP DRIVEknob is unity gain)( SLOW ROTORSPEED )

Connect a standard TRS expressionpedal for continuous control overany selectable knob parameter. Toselect the knob controlled by theexpression pedal, hold the SLOW/FAST footswitch during power up.The rst knob turned is then thenassigned to the expression pedal. The maximum position the knob isturned up to becomes the expressionpedal “toe down” maximum value.Moving the pedal to the “heeldown” position activates the rotorbrake when the expression pedal isassigned to control speed.

Connect a Favorite Switch to saveyour favorite setting or to toggle slow/fast speeds remotely. To use a Favorite

switch, see page 5 for a detailedexplanation of set up.

Whileholding both footswitches atpower up, turn MIC DISTANCEfully counterclockwise for usewith a GUITAR AMP. TurnMICDISTANCE fully clockwise foruse with a FULL RANGE speakersystem, e.g. studio monitors.Full range mode is also usefulfor direct recording.

EXP INPUT ASSIGN: Assignsthe EXP pedal input jack touse an expression pedal or aFavorite switch. While holdingboth footswitches at power up,turn FAST ROTOR SPEED fullycounterclockwise for use with anexpression pedal. Turn knob fullyclockwise for use with a FavoriteSwitch to save a favorite setting.Turn knob to the middle positionto use a Favorite switch to togglebetween FAST and SLOW rotorspeeds.
