Dear Siddha Doctor,
If you are a Siddha Doctor qualified in BIM or BSMS or MD (Siddha), with an interest
on Structural standards and Quality Management System in AYUSH Hospitals and anxious
to get accreditation, then this is an excellent opportunity for you.
This is a 6-day workshop sponsored by the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India, and
being organized by the Kokila Siddha Hospital and Research Centre, (Accredited by NABH, Quality Council of India) Madurai, Tamilnadu, on 01-06 August 2017 with the
specific aim of exposing Siddha Doctors like you to the various quality management system
and hands on training for documentation, hospital infection control, patient care.
Quality standards and structural standards are two eyes of a Health Care
Organisation (HCO) and we could not ignore its importance among the stakeholders of
Siddha Medicine. The objective of the present workshop is to provide a hands-on training
on various accreditation standards and scope of services in an AYUSH hospital especially
in Siddha Hospitals.
The CME cum training workshop aims to take a step forward to initiate the Quality
Management System (QMS) among Siddha doctors those completed BIM or BSMS or MD
(Siddha) and holding a 10-bed Siddha hospital or working in State/Central AYUSH – Siddha
wings as Medical Officer or RMO/MO in teaching institutions or working in State or Central
research councils or National institutes or private practitioner of more than 10 years

experience are eligible to participate the 6 day CME. Preference will be given to the senior
persons working as a Medical Officer in Govt/reputed private Siddha hospital and other
state participants. The 30 seats will be selected and shortlisted as per AYUSH guidelines
by considering the applications received from other state and nearby areas to Madurai as
local participants.
The CME would be conducted by NABH AYUSH Assessors, NABH consultants,
leading Siddha experts, Members from State and Central AYUSH governing bodies and
practitioners of Siddha Medicine those involved in promoting Quality Management System.
No Registration Fees.
Number of Participants – 30 (15 from outstation and 15 from local)
As per the norms of the AYUSH funding for such CME Programs, TA,
Accommodation and working lunch of the selected participants would be met by the
Workshop Organizers (as per AYUSH guidelines) and a Certificate of Participation would
be issued to them after attending all the 6 days.
