Brief Background• The United States spends $2 trillion annually on

healthcare, more than any other industrialized nation

• 2010, Affordable Care Act (ACA) was signed by President Obama

• Over the next four years 50.7 million Americans will be eligible for insurance – 140,000 in Oregon

• As a result, Providence Medical Group is transforming into a Patient-Centered Medical Home
