Strategic goal of WP3: Strengthening the innovation, technology transfer capacity and interdisciplinary skills of FMI staff, and FMI collaboration with partners outside the academic community

Specific objectives:• strengthening the human resources capacity • enhancing the collaboration with Bulgarian and foreign

researchers from public institutions and industry• exchange of knowledge and best practices• strengthening the research environment• expanding interdisciplinary education and training




Activities to meet objectivesActivities to meet objectives

• providing guidance to PhD students and young researchers by experienced researchers from Bulgaria and EU partners for deepening their knowledge and advancing their studies on selected research issues

• providing training to PhD students, Post Docs and senior researchers for building interdisciplinary skills, for implementing research projects and communicating research results

• ensuring exchange of knowledge and experience with other Bulgarian and EU researchers through two-ways mobility, joint research workshops and participation at conferences

• improving the technology environment and the access to knowledge for FMI research, and PhD students in particular

• introducing new interdisciplinary courses at undergraduate, graduated and postgraduate levels
