Strength of Tece PVC edgebandingDurability of PVC polymer is one of the most important reasons for furniture producers to use PVC edgebanding instead of other edging options. Yet, the question must be asked if all PVC edgebandings in the world are as durable as they should be.

In this study and article, we have tested Tece PVC edgebanding against other products. Our findings were really interesting. Please see the image below to see the results.

We took a sample of Tece products and try to tear it apart. As you can see from the image, it is not possible to tear it with hand.

After checking our sample, we found another sample of PVC edgebanding from the best producers of Asia. You can see how it was torn apart. Same amount of strength was applied in both tests.

durableFrom the above image, you can witness which product is more durable. And in the right picture, you can see the effect of non-durable edgebanding during the process. The end of edgebanding can break during the end-cutting due to the product strength.Why our product has better strength and more durable?

- Our equipment: German-made equipments make the PVC powder to turn into edgebanding form with the best possible blending. This blending system makes all components to be polymerized at complete.

- We use minimum amount of calcite carbonate in our PVC formulation. Extra usage of calcite can lower the cost; yet, it makes the product more rigid.

- Combination of quality raw material and high tech processing system enable us to produce the optimum product quality and strength.

Our pre-glued edgebandings are available in PVC, melamine, and veneer. To hide screw

heads, you can get screw covers with the same color of panel (just like edgebanding). Additionally, a perfect finish of edgebandings is complete with the touch of double edge trimmer.While many focus on selling the materials to bigger customers with high volume and automated machines, Tece tries to help even the smallest dealer or carpenter.

Traveler of the Lost City: DubrovnikWorld has so many interesting places to visit and to see. And if I am to prepare a list of must-visit places, Dubrovnik would be in the top 10 on that list.

These interesting places are either man-made or have natural features that make them special. And Dubrovnik is a man-made city that should be visited by any travel lovers. This great city is surrounded by high walls; thus, enabling Dubrovnik to protect herself from attackers in the past times. Today, the city makes the visitors to feel as if they are walking in the streets in the ancient times.

TECE at Interzum Cologne 2015Interzum Cologne 2015 has been completed. Interzum, which took place between May 5th and May 8th 2015 in Cologne - Germany, was the most important event for the furniture industry this year.

Companies from all over the world presented their new products / new designs to visitors from almost everywhere in the world.

As Tece, we showcased the complete range of products to our visitors. Many were surprised to see the range of products and services that Tece offers.

At the fair, the printing companies presented many new designs / concepts to the market. Thus, it looks like there will be many more colors to be copied for edgebanding in the close future.

We like to thank everyone who visited our stand at this fair. And we hope that it was a beneficial fair for all the visitors.

TECE participated in Ligna 2015Ligna is the most important exhibition for furniture machinery and furniture production techniques. It is organized every two years and it consists of presentations of new machinery and developments for furniture.

After completing Interzum Cologne, our staff went directly to Hannover - Germany to take part in Ligna this year. The reason in participating in this fair was to introduce Tece’s product range and our company to the world. This was our first time to be there.

We like to thank all people who visited our stand.
