Reviving the baseball fields in Sherwood Heights Workers are replacing fencing and backstops, and installing new sod at the Sherwood Heights ball fields. The renewed fields reopen in spring 2013. Cleaning up the County in spring roadside cleanup A total of 175 people collected approximately 13 tonnes (29,000 pounds) of garbage along 160 kilometres of country roads and five kilometres of streets in Sherwood Park. Road upgrades continue in the Industrial Heartland Construction continues on Range Road 220 from Highway 15 to Township Road 560A until mid-August. Installation of Keyera’s pipeline has started. Meetings are held in Council Chambers in the Community Centre, 2001 Sherwood Drive, Sherwood Park. Members of the public are welcome to attend and observe.
