• Conservation Units and Indigenous Lands account for about 41% of the territory (2,1 million km2)• Very limited human and financial resources to consolidated and protected these areas • Deforestation and illegal logging is increasing in some Protected Areas • It is about 10% of total deforestation (2007-2008)
