Market Analysis Summary The wedding industry in the United States is a gigantic one, with over 2 million weddings taking place across the country every year and over 80 billion dollars spent annually.

Costs: In 2016, the average cost of a wedding reached an all-time high at $35,329, while the number of guests decreased. Custom guest entertainment has more than tripled, from 11% to 41% since 2009, with photo booths (78%), games (18%), musical performances (12%) and fireworks (8%) at the top of the list. Although today’s technology allows couples to plan their own weddings, couples are still spending over planned budgets.

Trends: Summer weddings is still popular, but 40% of couples have chosen fall weddings (up from 30% in 2009). September and October are tied for the most popular month, each accounting for 16% of weddings, followed by June with 13%. If there is a cancellation the retainer deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy In the event the services of the Wedding Planner are no longer required (cancellation of the wedding, etc.), a percentage of the deposit will be forfeited, as set out below: 25% of the deposit if the event is cancelled within 7 days of the signing this contract

It is my understanding that you, the bride and groom, will retain me as the Month of Coordinator for your wedding on .

Description of Services- a meeting with me ahead of time, either at the venue or elsewhere, to go over schedule, duties, logistics, etc.- unlimited correspondence and communication with me via email, call, and text- help with set up of the event site- point of contact for all vendors - they'll check in with me when they arrive, or call me if there's a problem- I'll take corsages and boutonnieres and distribute when needed- keep an eye on all public spaces, garbage’s, bathrooms, etc.- greet guests and direct to appropriate areas- keep an eye on all gift and card tables or guest books and direct guests to those as well- light candles before guests arrive in reception hall- keep an eye on all candy, snack, or dessert tables and refill as needed- give payment to any vendors who need yet and get receipts signed for it- ensure all vendors have completed their jobs before they leave- take all cards/gifts to your car, suite, or designated area

Please note that the services listed above do not include running any wedding related errands such as picking up or delivering attire, supplies or equipment, documents, etc.

As the client, you will rely on me to work as many hours as may be reasonably necessary to fulfill my obligations under this agreement.

MileageIf any ceremony or reception is outside of the metro, a mileage fee of $0.51 per mile will be charged for round trip. If ceremony and reception are at various locations, unless they are more than 20 miles apart, no extra mileage fee will be charged.

Conditions-I understand that my role will be that of advisor and coordinator. You will make the actual selections of service providers and I will implement those selections.− It is your responsibility to provide me with contact names, telephone numbers and any scheduled time tables for all service providers involved in the wedding ceremony/reception no later than 5 days prior to the wedding or upon the signing of this letter.− It is also your responsibility to notify me of any changes in a timely manner. I shall not be held liable for any changes made by you or your selected service providers.− I will use my professional judgment when acting regarding changes, weather, tardiness, nonperformance, etc. based on the situation, time limitations and/or your wishes.− In the event a venue coordinator is on site I will work with you and the coordinator as needed.-My business may display and use photographs from your event for advertising, display, website, and internet promotion at our discretion.
