• Implementation - “A specified set of purposeful activities at the practice, program, and system level designed to put into place a program or intervention of known dimensions with fidelity.” (and is sustained)
• Fidelity = how closely practices are “in place” relative to their intention.

What Works? - Implementation Frameworks(Describing the NIRN approach)
Practice, program and systems change through…4 Key Frameworks that are multi-dimensional, and fully integrated
Framework Lesson Learned
Implementation Team Must be dedicated & resourced (enabled)
Implementation Stages It takes time and there are defined milestones to gauge progress
Implementation Drivers Success requires a systematic approach that assesses drivers (barriers/facilitators) to create a comprehensive implementation action plan
Improvement Cycles Don’t try to do it all at once
