Process Description The various essential elements of Sewage Treatment Plant are descri below. 1) STP Pit: Raw sewage shall be collected to STP Pit and transferredthrough STP Pit Pump to Biological tank transfer. This fun fluctuation and equalization of sewage load. Equipment usage: Flowmeter Measuring to raw water pump flow 2) Biological Tank: Raw water flows in Biological tank and this treated by microbes. Plastic media is provided inside the tank for better growth of bacteria which provides better treated water quality. Biological treated water shall be transferred by gravity to Sedimentation Tank. Equipment usage: Blower Air feed to bacteria. 3) Sedimentation Tank: Biological sludge is settled in bottom of tank. The abov transfer to filter feed tank by gravity. The settled waste in the bott of the tank can then be pumped back to Biological tank. 4) Filter Feed Tank: The clear water shall be collected to filter feed tank. This function i Equalization of flow control . shall flow into Filter Feed Tank a transferred through Filter feed pump to Sand Filter. 5) Sand Filter: The clear water from Filter Feed Tank shall be pumped into Sand Filter to remove suspended particles in the water by filtration. 6) Treated Water Tank: Treated Water Tank is provided for store the treated water for irrigation and the backwashing of Filters. Process Description

The various essential elements of Sewage Treatment Plant are described below.

1) STP Pit:

Raw sewage shall be collected to STP Pit and transferred through STP Pit Pump to Biological tank

transfer. This function is Absorber flow fluctuation and equalization of sewage load.

Equipment usage:

Flowmeter

Measuring to raw water pump flow

2) Biological Tank:

Raw water flows in Biological tank and this raw water is further treated by microbes. Plastic media

is provided inside the tank for better growth of bacteria which provides better treated water quality.

Biological treated water shall be transferred by gravity to Sedimentation Tank.

Equipment usage:

Blower

Air feed to bacteria.

3) Sedimentation Tank:

Biological sludge is settled in bottom of tank. The above clear water transfer to filter feed tank by

gravity. The settled waste in the bottom of the tank can then be pumped back to Biological tank.

4) Filter Feed Tank:

The clear water shall be collected to filter feed tank. This function is Equalization of flow

control .shall flow into Filter Feed Tank and be transferred through Filter feed pump to Sand Filter.

5) Sand Filter:

The clear water from Filter Feed Tank shall be pumped into Sand Filter to remove suspended

particles in the water by filtration.

6) Treated Water Tank:

Treated Water Tank is provided for store the treated water for irrigation and the backwashing of

Filters.
