photo booksWhether placed at a display booth or lay-ing on a coffee table in a church’s foyer, photo books highlight-ing a field of ministry is a beautiful way to get the message out. One of the best things about a book is that it can sit around for months or even years and still be both engaging and at-tractive.

videosLong or short, emotive or energetic, a video is a great way to tell the story. In today’s soci-ety we expect informa-tion to be delivered in this format, even on the internet.

magazinesLike a photo book, mag-azines can stay around a long time and still be engaging. A magazine might be your best bet for getting the most detailed information about a mission or min-istry out to your audi-ence, especially if you want to be able to place the information into their homes.

canvas wall artFew things in this world can be as emotive or powerful as a single im-age displayed in a large scale. Instead of deco-rating your church with generic images, con-sider using that space to highlight the people and places you support. Place a plaque or small sign next to the canvas to explain more about the ministry.

roll-up bannerRoll-ups are probably best used when you are having a promotional event such as a din-ner to raise awareness or funds for a specific need or in a foyer. These banners are taller than a person and easily roll into the base for stor-age and transportation. Consider using these at your event, then donat-ing them to the organi-zation highlighted.

framed photosJust like the canvas prints framed photos have the same ability to convey emotion and information. They don’t say a picture is worth a thousand words for no reason.

calendarsWant to get the message in front of your audi-ence for an entire year. Calendars are great be-cause they both last a long time, and they give you the ability to high-light multiple sides to a ministry, or even al-low you to focus on up to a dozen different fields.

banners and signsSigns and banners are similar to roll-ups both with one significant advantage - You can use them to decorate empty walls and even hang them on the backs of doors. These are also great to use if you are wanting something that you can then donate to the min-istry for their use lat-er.

business cardsBusiness cards are like miniature billboards, and they are inexpen-sive. Give these to ev-eryone, and they can use them as bookmarks, or put them on their fridge, so that your message can be in front of them often.

brochuresBrochures are very use-ful for getting the ba-sic information out there about a mission or ministry without too much cost. They also give you the opportunity to go into more detail than on something like a business card, but not as much as a magazine.

custom logosBrand recognition isn’t something just for large organizations and busi-nesses anymore. Church-es, missions and min-istries are finding out that they need to have a consistent im-age and feel to their promotional materials if they want to be taken seriously. Consider a customized logo to kick start that focus. Peppercorn Pho

postcardsPostcards are an ideal way to promote an event, or use as a prayer card. Prayer cards can be put on fridges or tacked to the wall so that your audience can remember to pray for a ministry or missionaries serving on a field.

other ideasLooking for a few other ideas? more tech savvy audience members. One more great way to catch your audi-ence’s eye in a time when normally nothing else is going on is to create pre-service or pre-event countdowns that not only highlight the ministry, but let folks know when they need to be in their seats.

Many churches, mission committees and ministries struggle with sharing their work to their congregation or their supporters. Storytellers, a ministry of CrossRoads Missions, exists to effectively bridge that gap. At many churches missions giving is one ofthe largest items in the budget, yet few memberscan name even one or two of the ministries their offerings support. We believe that the work going on around the world is vital to thesuccess and growth of the worldwide church. Ifcongregations knew of the efforts then they could pray and give more effectively thereby bolstering the ministries’ efforts. We create professional resources, like theones you’ll find in this sample guide, that youcan use to engage your audience with the storyof how God is working through your efforts. We are also a non-profit ministry so whilewe do have fees for our partnership, they areextremely reduced - covering only our realexpenses and administration. We would love to be able to partner withyou. To find out more look through this catalog, then contact us to find out how to share yourstory.
