THIS IS STORY JUMPER

HOW THIS PROGRAM WORKS:

• This is a website that lets you or your students create, share and even publish a hard copy of a book that they make.

• Just click on the "create" button. From there, you'll be taken to the StoryCreator tool and from there you can start to get to choosing what you want to put in your book.

• You start by either picking an already made template or starting from scratch to completely make your own book.

• From there you can choose props, backgrounds, text and colors to add to your story.

• Here are step by step instructions on how to make a story: http://www.tildee.com/r1R1Jh

HOW THIS COULD BE USED IN EDUCATION

• W 4.3 wants 4th graders to be able to write narratives.  These can be written and then turned into a storybook.

• It allows students to be creative and to create their own book in their own way.

• It could be good to use with ELL students when teaching them English.

• It is a great way for students to feel like they are actual authors. It could encourage them to want to write more.

• It is a great way to display students work.

• They could create a narrative, informational, or fiction kind of book.

• Teachers can use our StoryStarter Workbook or their own creative writing lesson plans.

• The StoryStarter workbook is designed to teach kids the 7-steps to developing a complete story arc in a fun and interactive way.
