PERSONALITYStoic and devoted to her Mistress, Jenny is determined and brave. Having faced many alien (and human) horrors in her time as Vashta’s maidservant, there is little that frightens or even rattles her anymore.

BACKGROUND Jenny is, to all outside observers, a simple maid in the employ of the mysterious and seldom seen Madame Vastra. In truth, she is Varashta’s Girl Friday, providing material as well as martial support in her vigilante crusade across London. Vastra has trained her in the fighting arts and she weilds a sword almost as effectively as her mistress when the situation requires it.

Her spatio-temporal home is with Madame Vastra in Victorian era London, and it is there that the pair focus their activities. She is no stranger to time travel, however, having fought with Vastra in the past and the future, once at the very side of the Doctor, himself.
