http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/story-board-a2-2 1/2
1) We see two girls in the
front of the car about to
kiss. The shot is filmed
from the backseat so it
looks as though the
audience are there, in the
scene.
2) A panning shot of the
woods to create an effect
of confusion on the
audience. A lot of litter
consisting of alcohol
bottles is revealed
3) There is a close up of a
ringing mobile phone. This
suggests the character has
left in a hurry to leave
something so valuable
behind. Making the viewer
question where the owner
of the mobile phone is.
4) We see a happy couple inthe lounge; the girl is the girl
who we saw earlier in the
advert in the car with another
female. This shot lets theaudience know the boyfriend
is oblivious. A two-shot will
be used to show both
characters and their surroundings.
5) Here we see a character
pouring a can of petrol
along the outside of a
building. We use a mid
shot so the audience can
see both the petrol and
where it is being poured.
6) The shot changes to a closeup of a lighter so the audience
get the full idea of what the
character’s intentions are. Also
using the close shots, keeps the
character anonymous adding to
the suspense.
7) The boyfriend from theearlier shot discovers his
girlfriend’s lesbian affair
after finding messages on her
mobile phone. We see a midshot of the boyfriend
standing up in anger.
8) The next shot is a two-
shot showing the male
confronting his girlfriend;
causing a row and him to
throw her on the settee.
9) This is a close up the hand of the girl having a lesbian affair.
She has committed suicide after
the row with her boyfriend,
however here her identity is not
properly revealed. We also see
some pills on the floor in the
film
10) In this shot we will use awide shot to see the
surroundings and the guests
on their way to the funeral of
the deceased girl with alldressed in black to represent
mourning.

11) Here we will use a
shot-reverse-shot of the
girl’s female lover and
her characters boyfriend.
They will both have a
serious and
uncomfortableexpression on their face
to show their anger at
one another
12) Here we will use a shot
getting closer to a shed/
garage as if the camera is
walking towards the shed
and we are seeing through
the eyes of a character.
13) A mid shot will be
used in this part to reveal
that inside the shed/garage
is a person that has been
kidnapped, sat on a chair
with their head covered so
the kidnapper and victimare left anonymous to give
the viewer reason to watch.
14) The last part of the
trailer will be showing
the name of the shop and
the details of what time
and which channel it will
be on. The title will be
