We offer complete solutions to stormwater management.
Stormwater from urban runoff is one of the leading causes of pollution in creeks, rivers and lakes. Conventional stormwater retention/detention systems, such as ponds and concrete structures, are historically accepted methods of controlling stormwater quantity
and quality. While these methods are effective treatments to non-point resource discharge, they occupy valuable commercial land and act ® offers an innovative approach to stormwater challenges. Our offerings include complete solutions to stormwater
problems, including products as well as services.
TRITON® SUBSURFACE STORMWATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CONSISTS OF:
StormwaterManagement Solutions
RETENTION/DETENTION- Triton™ S-29 Chambers with end caps
- 19mm – 50mm clear, angular stone (by others)
- Catchbasin (by others)
- Sump (optional)
SEDIMENT CONTROL- Non-woven geotextile (360R)
CONVEYANCE- Triton® S-29 Chambers with end caps (header & distribution rows)
- Distributor pipes
- Inflow/outflow pipes (by others)
Using an earth-friendly soy resin-based polymer, Triton produces chambers that are significantly lighter, substantially larger and much stronger than conventional chambers. The chambers are lightweight, making the strength-to-weight ratio unrivalled. Due to its larger capacity, Triton chambers are becoming the professionals’ choice for a comprehensive stormwater management solution. In addition, since Triton chambers are so light, they ship very efficiently and are installed much quicker than heavier types of chambers.
B riton® chambers include:

Lighter: -Chambers weigh only 14.5kg
Larger: -Chamber storage is equivalent to 48” diameter pipe
Stronger: -Tested to the latest AASHTO LFRD Bridge Design Spec 1-Test validated chambers to withstand a rear axle load of 48,000 lbs
Greener: -Made of eco-friendly soy resin
Cost-Effective: -Lower shipping costs-Fewer labour man-hours per cubic metre
Easier to Install: -One-person installation-Engineered connection allows easy placement of chamber sections
(m3)
Triton chambers are less expensive, quicker and easier to install than other types of underground stormwater systems. The side portal feed provides greater flexibility in engineering and hydraulic design, eliminating circuitous routing of feed pipes from inlet structures to entry point of header pipe. Triton chambers may also be used in place of corrugated metal, or HDPE pipe for stormwater conveyance comparable to a 48-inch diameter pipe, with the added benefit of infiltration and water quality enhancement.

Large diameter HDPE pipe
Our large diameter smooth wall profile pipe is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) Resin.
Large diameter HDPE pipe is designed for gravity and low-pressure applica-tions, its raw material properties have been combined with patented structural wall technology to create a lightweight engineered pipe with superior loading capacity.
It is used to convey liquid or air, under-ground or aboveground, in low pressure applications.
Benefits of Large Diameter HDPE Pipe include:• Indefinite service life• Lightweight• Long laying lengths• Impact resistant• Corrosion resistant• Abrasion resistant• Chemical resistant
®
® GCLs are produced by distributing a uniform layer of the sodiumbentonite between two geotextiles.
Fibers from the non-woven geotextiles are then needle punched through the layer of bentonite and incorporated into the other geotextile (either a woven or non-woven). This process results in a strong mechanical bond between the fabrics.
A proprietary heat treating process – Thermal Lock Process – is then used to modify and permanently
Properties include increased internal shear resistance and long term creep resistance.
The growing interest in these products stems from the unique properties and advantages they offer. They are very effective as a hydraulic barrier even under high gradient conditions; they are easy to install; more robust against installation stresses and can withstand elongation as well as settlement
performance.
