DESCRIPTION
This booklet is my final class project for my photography class. I asked the subject to bring a personal item to the shoot and then to speak about its significance to her life. The shoot ended up being about more than the Colorado flag and the importance of a home, and became more about expressing the subject's personality through photography.

It reminds me of my family. When I went to college I wanted to bring some memento to remind me of where I came from.
[...] I’m on the tennis team here at vvv. The tennis coach, that is no longer the tennis coach here, [...] is from Colorado. He started coaching at the local ten-nis club where I grew up, then he got a job coaching college tennis. He basically recruited me; he kept up on my high school results. He called me up in my senior year in high school and asked me if I’d like to play college tennis. I just applied as a favor to him.
I don’t talk that much usually. If I really feel the need to say something I usually say it.
