“it was so sick chilling with everyone and cruising the streets with literally like 250 kids taking

over traffic. it was a good vibe and all the kids were crazy!”

DUB JAM 2 / ROUTE MAP

frankfurt host / bruno hoffmann— how would you sum up the dub street series? Heavy riding by the local scenes on their home spots.— what was your favourite memory from the day? Walter (the friendly local homeless guy) running after the mob all day, collecting bottles and entertaining us.— how did you pick the spots? They all had to be in one route and couldn’t be too much of a bust. Also, I felt like the diversity was important too.

“for me the dub street series were the best events i’ve ever been to. it’s a completely awesome vibe riding with all those people, all without any pressure. it’s just riding like any other day but with ‘half’ of the bmx world with you.”— Diogo Santos / Rotterdam Winner

rotterdam host / roy Van kempen— how would you sum up the dub street series? The DUB Street series was amazing! When I was travelling to Rotterdam by train the weather was insane with crazy thunder and sick rain showers. I was really glad that Rotterdam local Don Wiegel brought us to the covered spot at the Grafisch Lyceum. After an hour the streets were dry and we headed out. The best thing about the DUB street series is the overall vibe - around 170 riders came to Rotterdam to join the session and to see international pro’s killing it. You have no idea how much this means for the Dutch BMX scene. I was really stoked to be a partner with WeAreOrangeJuice.com!— what was your favourite memory from the day?Mark Vos is a mad man! When I added the wooden Corkscrew spot on the route, I was hoping somebody would jump it from transition to transition. Mark pulled off his shirt and gapped the whole thing. So crazy, check out the video for the footy.— how did you pick the spots?I went to Rotterdam two weeks before the jam with my good friend Joeri Veul. Together we knew quite a few spots, so we rode from the meeting spot to the last spot of the day: Zuiderpark street plaza. We took pictures of all the spots which we found along the way and back home I made the cut of which spots were good for the jam. In my opinion the best street jams have a good mix of crazy ‘Pro’ spots like big handrails and easier spots like a flat ledge. This way kids can check out the pros throwing down hammers at one spot but at the same time they can ride together at another spot. That’s how I fixed this route.

DUB JAM / GLASGOW ROUTE

glasgow host / grant smith — how would you sum up the dub street series?A great way for a huge crew of riders to ride around different cities and hang out together, all while witnessing (and/or participating in) a laid back day of some really progressive street riding. — what was your favourite memory from the day?It was amazing being in a group of hundreds of riders blasting down through Glasgow’s biggest pedestrian shopping street at the busiest time on a Saturday afternoon.— how did you pick the spots? We chose spots that were all a bit different from each other, weren’t too far from each other and that could also handle a lot of people being there.

“the street series was just an excuse to get hundreds of riders out and take over a city for a day, hang out and have a good time, except this year we went international. the spots were picked based on whether we could get away with taking 400 people there, and obviously they needed to be along some kind of route. my best memory from the liverpool stop definitely had to be cruising through town past the liver building 400 deep watching people skitch random cars.” - DUB JACK / ORGANISER

“the dub street series has had an unbelievable turnout; every stop has been swarmed with riders from near and far, up for a cruise and a good time. dub has always had a reputation for the sickest jams and with the help of monster energy have been able to branch out beyond the uk to holland, spain and germany to give other parts of the world a feel for a boss jam. big shout out and thanks to jack, jay bean, tom creasy, dub, monster energy, everyone who turned up to the jams, the filmers and all the rude’ns involved! can’t wait for what’s in store next year! chills not skills.” - Dan Paley
