Willow and Beech will be playing some tradional playground games, and Maple and Oak will be having a long distance run challenge around the field. Please collect your sponsorship money and bring it in to school by next Friday, 30th June. Remember to follow the safe fundraising rules on your sponsor form. Thank you for your support in raising money for such a good cause. Dear All, It's been a very busy week which has included our Year 6 children making their first visit to Southam College for taster lessons - all thoroughly enjoyed the session. We have also welcomed our new starters into Willow class for the first me. I hope everyone received the leer regarding class structure for next year (if not, please check your child's book bag!). Transion day is on Wednesday 28th June and Mrs Russell will be with us for that day. Year 6 have a second day at Southam on 29th - we'll see you back here on Friday 30th June, no doubt full of excitement and enthusiasm. Dear All, It's been a very busy week which has included our Year 6 children making their first visit to Southam College for taster lessons - all thoroughly enjoyed the session. We have also welcomed our new starters into Willow class for the first time. I hope everyone received the letter regarding class structure for next year (if not, please check your child's book bag!). FOSSILS Our Before and After School Club is open to all pupils who attend our school and is run by Diane Cooper who you may

know from Stepping Stones Pre-School. Diane is an experienced playworker who is supported by an additional

playworker. Children can attend as many or as few sessions as you choose.

FOSSILS offers a variety of activities that your child can join in with.

Monday: Cooking Tuesday: Art and Craft Wednesday: Cooking Thursday: Cinema Friday: Games

Times and costings :

The club runs from 8.00am to 8.55 am then again in the

afternoon from 3.30pm to 5.00 pm.

8.00 am – 8.55 am £4.20

8.30am drop off £1.20 cash in hand / £1.50 on account

3.30 – 4.00pm £2.25

3.30 – 5.00pm £6.25

Please note that there is a cancellation fee of £3.50 and a late collection fee of £10 in addition to the session charge.

This is due to the fact that we still need to pay staff under these circumstances. Charges are based on covering costs

to ensure that it remains available to you and not for profit. Breakfast is offered for children arriving between 8 and

8.30, and snacks are available for children staying after 4pm.

From September 2016 we have introduced a contract only service for families who require longer hours. Our contract

only service runs from 7.45am every day and until 6pm Monday to Thursday. Please contact the School Office if you

would like further details.

Payments are made via ParentPay and we ask that you keep your account in credit. We are also able to accept childcare

vouchers, please ask at the Office for details.

To book a session please call the school office on 01926 812483 Bookings must be made 48 hours in advance.

Sunny days and Rainy days Now we are seeing some sunshine, please

ensure that your child has a hat, named water

bottle and sun cream with them in school.

Children should be able to apply their own

sun cream. However, as we are also still

seeing a lot of rainy days, they will

also need a waterproof coat as we do

go out to play as often as possible.

From the PTA:

The Summer Disco is this evening, Friday 23rd June, from 6.00 to 7.30pm and is open to all pupils at Stockton School. There is a RAINBOW theme, so come dressed in your most colourful outfits: either pick one colour or wear the full spectrum! Each attendee will be given a free gift on arrival and there will also be ice-pops as part of the entrance fee. As usual there will be drinks, crisps, sweets and glow sticks on sale. Entrance is £2.50 per child.
