The Stockholm ArenaA new multiunctional arena with seating-capacityor 30,000 visitors will be built in the Globe area,in close proximity to downtown Stockholm andwith good public transport links and access tolocal roads and highways. Included in the projectare a new hotel, new commercial space andresidences. The arena will be inaugurated in 2013and cost SEK 2.3 Billion.

    26. Stockholm Royal SeaportStockholms largest city district is to be developedin central Stockholm over the coming years. Itwill stretch rom Hjorthagen in the north, throughthe harbour area in the east, to Loudden in thesouth, comprising 10,000 new residences and30,000 new workspaces. Planning started in theearly 2000s and the new city district will be ullydeveloped around 2025.

    3. ErikslundIn Vsters, IKEA is planning to buy 220,000 m2o land in Erikslund Trade Center in order to builda new 24,000 m2 IKEA-store. The area will also bedeveloped or other commercial activities.

    4. NynsvgenRoad 73, between Stockholm and Nynshamnwill be upgraded to a modern reeway, and willbe completed in 2009/2010. A new double trackrailway rom Nynshamn is being planned.

    5. VegastadenIn Haninge, planning is under way or Vegastadencomprising o 3,000 new apartments, a newcommuter train station and a reeway o-ramp.Construction will start in 2010 and the entireproject will be completed in 2020.

    6. StockholmArlanda AirportStockholm Arlanda Airport is o strategicimportance to the entire Stockholm region.Express trains runs rom central Stockholm in20 minutes . Near Stockholm Arlanda Airport,Rosersberg and Arlanda Stad are being developedor new oces, shops, logistics and industries.

    7. Stockholm Skavsta AirportThe municipality o Nykping is currentlyplanning a new access route to acilitate transportto and rom Stockholm Skavsta Airport.

    8. Ullna Ski ResortIn Tby, Ullna Ski Resort will be developed intoan indoor downhill and cross-country skiingcomplex. The complex will also include a watertheme park. Hotels and housing are currentlybeing built in the area.

    9. Tby City CenterThe addition o a 25,000 m2 mall area to TbyCity Center will bring the total up to 75,000 m2,together with 3,000 new indoor parking spaces.Concurrently, 800 apartments, including garageparking, will be developed, together with new accessroads and inrastructure. Construction starts 2009.

    10. KanalstadenIn sterker, the construction o Kanalstaden,comprising o 2,600 new apartments, a marina andbusinesses along kers canal, starts during 2009.

    11. RosenkllaIn sterker, a new regional trade centre inRosenklla with a projected trade area o300,000 m2, is set to enter the constructionphase in 2009.

    12. Gvle HarbourDuring the years to come, there will be inra-

    structure investments o approximately50 millionin Gvle harbour, and another 40 million inurther competence development. The commitmentto container trac continues through variousprojects including Stockholm-Nord. A newRORO-acility is built in the harbour, and newareas will be made available or business purposes.

    13. InraCityA major expansion o the business park InraCityin Upplands Vsby will take place rom 2008 andonwards, adding another 100,000 m2 space oroces, shops, hotels, exhibition halls, conerenceacilities etc.

    14. Uppsala Travel CenterThe Uppsala Travel Center is one o the largestconstruction projects ever in Uppsala. The railroadstation area is being developed into a modern,accessible travel center with new housing, ocesand shops, better walking and biking connections,and new squares and parks.

    15. Logistics ParkThe Eskilstuna Logistics Park, which intersectswith three transportation systems (road, rail andair), is being developed or new logistics operations.

    16. VilundaparkenVilundaparken the large sports and recreationalarea in Upplands Vsby is to be transormed.The area o 25 hectare, will in the uture comprisemodern acilities or sports, culture and events ointernational interest. Integrated in the new conceptare new apartments and oces and shops.

    17. FlemingsbergThe BioCity-project in Flemingsberg is a70,000 m2 modern building intended orresearch and education in order to urtheruel Flemingsbergs expansion within the LieSciences eld. The project also comprises newshops, restaurants and a parking garage.

    18. Sdertlje City CenterIn the Sdertlje City Center, a comprehensivedevelopment project is under way. The aim o thisproject is to make better use o the local possibilities,i.e. better integration o transportation, parks and

    waterways. The project comprises 2,000 newapartments and 10,000 m2 or shops and oces.

    19. AlmnsAlmns, situated in both Sdertlje and Nykvarnmunicipalities, has tremendous potential oraccommodating both housing and businessprojects, with 270 hectares or new apartmentsand 160 hectares suited or businesses particularlywithin the logistics sector.

    20. BarkarbyIn Jrlla, Barkarby is to become an exciting mixo housing, retail and education. Today, about1,000 apartments are completed, with a urther4,000 apartments and 6,000 workplaces to berealised within 15 years. Excellent communicationswill be part o the appeal with Barkarby commutertrain station becoming the new StockholmWest station.

    23. NynshamnA new LNG-terminal (Liqueed Natural Gas)will be built close to the Nynas renery inNynshamn. Since petrol and uel oil will bereplaced by natural gas, a reduction o CO2emissions o more than 200,000 tonnes per yearwill be achieved when the terminal reaches ullcapacity. The terminal is planned to be

    operational in 2011.

    24. Upplands VsbyA strategically located area next to the E4 lvsundadalen is being developed into aninteresting and busy part o the Stockholm region.Just in-between Stockholm City and Stockholm-Arlanda Airport, a mixture o housing, servicesand space or businesses will be created on an areao 120 hectares all based on long-termsustainability.

    25. VrmdIn Hlludden, Vrmd, an art gallery and culturecentre will be ready to welcome an internationalaudience in the spring o 2011. High quality,fexibility and respect or the surrounding natureare the watchwords or the project. The buildingcomprises an area o 7,500 m2 and will be built inthe heart o the Stockholm archipelago, 20 minutesrom the city.

    26. Uppsala RosendalUppsala Rosendal represents an opportunity tocapitalise on the vast potential o an innovativemixed-use development o 300,000 m2.Neighbouring more than 200 research andeducational departments and about 150 hightech companies in biotech, ICT and materialssciences. The detailed development plan sets highstandards in the creation o a new place to work,research, live and relax.

    27. MorabergThe strategic position in the city o Sdertljewith access to two European highways (E4/E20),as well as the seaport, is what distinguishes theproject Moraberg-Glasberga. With the head-quarters o Scania and AstraZeneca Sweden nearby,a natural ocus is put on knowledge-intensiveindustries like lie sciences and logistics.

    28. KatrineholmThe Katrineholm Logistics Centre (KLC) islocated at the crossing point o the west andsouth main railways and our main roads. KLCintersects with two transportation systems (trainand road) and have a railport agreement withthe Port o Scandinavia in Gothenburg. KLCcomprises a total o 100 hectares and can handlea 630 m ull-length train.

    29. Haninge City CenterIn central Haninge, a new city centre is beingplanned, including a new bus and commutertrains terminal, shopping mall, oce acilitiesand indoor parking.

    30. Albyberg Business ParkIn Albyberg, 20 km south o Stockholm city, anew business park is being developed. The totalarea o the park is about 100 hectares, locatedin close proximity o the highway and railwaysbetween Stockholm and the new harbour inNynshamn.
